JAN. 15 – TOP GIRLS BASKETBALL STARS IN MISSISSIPPI

Samya Brooks, Pontotoc: Brooks scored 22 points to lead Pontotoc to a 76-14 win over Caledonia.

Hama'ya Fielder, Neshoba Central: Fielder scored 21 points to lead Neshoba Central to a big 77-74 win over Pearl.

Andie Flatgard, Jackson Prep: Flatgard scored a game-high 22 points to lead Jackson Prep to a 43-39 win over MRA.

Abbey Harrison, Hernando: Harrison scored 18 points to lead Hernando to a 59-33 win over Southaven.

Ashanti High, New Albany: High scored a game-high 23 points — including four 3-pointers — to lead New Albany to a 56-49 win over Ingomar.

Leah Jones, Northpoint: Jones scored 18 points to lead Northpoint to a 62-32 victory over Lausanne.

Macy Jones, Columbia Academy: Jones scored a game-high 24 points to lead Columbia Academy to their 14th straight win, a 65-47 victory over Sumrall.

Reagan Kennedy, Hattiesburg: Kennedy scored 15 points to lead Hattiesburg to a 50-27 win over Pearl River Central.

Myra King, Columbus: King drilled a pair of key 3-pointers in the third quarter to help No. 4 Columbus pull away from New Hope for a 39-25 victory.

Meckiya Maye, Velma Jackson: Maye poured in 18 points to lead Velma Jackson to a 63-28 win over St. Andrew's.

Lana Rowland, Pine Grove: Rowland made seven 3-pointers and scored 25 points to lead Pine Grove to a 65-59 win over Biggersville.
