BASEBALL

Cole Manuel, Clinton baseball: Manuel recorded the win on the mound by tossing a complete game, giving up seven hits, five runs, and had 12 strikeouts in an 8-5 win over Germantown. 

Cameron Hill, Germantown baseball: In a three-game series against Clinton - Hill went 4-for-9 at the plate with two home runs and two singles.

Ethan Aultman, Sumrall baseball: The senior had a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate with a home run and two RBIs in a 13-2 win over Seminary. 

Scott Sharp, Lewisburg baseball: In six innings pitched, Sharp struck out five batters and only allowed three hits in a 5-2 win over Center Hill. 

Jon Paul Yates, Tupelo Christian Prep baseball: The senior had three hits in a dominant 17-2 win over Smithville. 

Brennon Wright, Starkville baseball: Wright went 2-for-3 at the plate with a walk, six RBIs, and a grand slam in Starkville's district win.

SOFTBALL

Brooklyn Rhodes, Vancleave softball: Rhodes threw a complete game in the circle and had a double along with an RBI in a 9-1 win against Gautier. 

Breelyn Cain, West Lauderdale softball: Cain recorded her fifth no-hitter of the season and struck out eight batters in a shutout 15-0 win over Leake Central. 

Mabry Eason, Russell Christian Academy softball: Had four hits and four RBIs in a doubleheader against Bessemer.

Kinsley Cospelich, Gulfport softball: Tossed a one-hitter in the circle to lead Gulfport past Harrison Central for the program's first Region 8-6A championship since 2009.

Anna Grace Whitehead, Kosciusko softball: Whitehead struck out 22 batters in the circle and went 5-for-9 at the plate with three singles, a triple, and a home run across a three-game win span. 

Tayla Willis, Choctaw Central softball: Willis went 2-for-3 at the plate with a single and a double in a shutout 12-0 win over Leake Central.
