Pisgah's Ryder White voted SB Live Mississippi Athlete of the Week for April 17-23

The two-way player notched nine strikeouts in seven innings and went 4-for-7 at the plate

Congratulations to Pisgah baseball star Ryder White for winning the fan vote for SB Live Mississippi High School Athlete of the Week for April 17-23!

White allowed just two hits and struck out nine batters in seven innings of work on the mound and went 4-for-7 at the plate in back-to-back wins over Choctaw Central and Florence.

He received 3,777 votes, representing roughly 94 percent of the 4,019 votes cast in Mississippi last week.

Shaneal Corpuz, Biloxi (Track)

Placed first in the Discus (121-3 Meters) and the Shot Put (39-5) at the Region 8-6A Meet in Biloxi.

Omari Hampton, Clinton (Track)

Placed first in the 100-Meter Dash (10.77 seconds) and the 200-Meter Dash (21.89) at the Region 2-6A Meet in Clinton.

Walker Hooks, Brandon (Baseball)

Tossed a gem in a 6-1 win over Oak Grove, going the distance and allowing one earned run on four hits with 11 strikeouts. He also went 1-for-4 with three RBIs in three games.

Kylan Overstreet, Southaven (Track)

Placed first in the 110-Meter Hurdles (15.71 seconds) and the 300-Meter Hurdles (41.61 at the Region 1-6A Meet at Oxford.

Luke Timmons, Saltillo (Track)

Placed first in both the Discus (118-11.00 meters) and Shot Put (43-00.00) at the Region 1-5A Meet in Oxford.
