Congratulations to Fort Zumwalt South boys basketball point guard Peyton Blair for being voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 28-March 6!

The senior was crucial toward a 60-59 win over Troy Buchanan last Saturday with 21 points, eight assists, six rebounds and seven steals.

Blair ran away with this week's honor, receiving 98.39% of the total vote.

Stirtz did a little bit of everything during the Blue Jays’ 54-48 win over North Kansas City last Tuesday, scoring 21 points, grabbing six rebounds, dishing out five assists and notching four steals.

Tasia Johnson, Lee’s Summit West girls basketball

Johnson had a 28-point, 12-rebound double-double during the Titans’ 61-53 win over Raytown last Tuesday.

Caelyn Ferguson, Heritage Christian girls basketball

Ferguson scored a game-high 22 points and notched four steals during a 36-31 win over Perry Lecompton last Tuesday.

Brandon Mitchell-Day, MICDS boys basketball
