The 2021-22 girls basketball season in Missouri ended with some familiar names at the state’s biggest tournament – the Show-Me Showdown in Springfield last month.

In four of the six classes, there was at least one team in the final that made the championship game the year before and in Class 2 and 4, the same two teams made the final.

Incidentally, though, the two teams that lost in the Class 2 and 4 finals last year, won the championship this year.
