Chris Giles paces Rock Bridge to Missouri Class 5 boys state track crown

Chris Giles won two events and aided two relay teams to first place to pace Rock Bridge to the Missouri High School Activities Association Class 5 Championship this weekend at Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City. Giles set a meet record in the 100-meter dash to highlight the efforts by the Bruins as they claimed their second consecutive state title
Rock Bridge scored 97 points in the meet to earn the top spot while Joplin placed second with 46 points while Liberty North scored 34 points to claim third place. Lee’s Summit West earned the final spot on the podium with 33 points to finish fourth in the state meet.
