Listed below are some of the top standouts and performers from Week 7 high school football games throughout the Show-Me State: 

Hunter Bailey, RB, Adrian

Bailey carried the ball only seven times but was effective when he did, scoring three times for the Blackhawks. The junior ran for 147 yards and had scoring runs of 2, 46 and 62 yards in the second quarter in Adrian’s 50-8 win over Crest Ridge.

Kendrick Bell, QB, Park Hill

Park Hill lost another close game, this one 41-40 to Lee’s Summit. Bell did a lot for the Trojans in the losing effort, throwing for 418 yards and three touchdowns (32 of 44 passing) and then added 56 yard and a touchdown on the ground.

Deion Brown, RB, Kirkwood

The Eastern Michigan pledge broke a pair of school single-game records in the Pioneers’ 49-7 win over Lindbergh on Friday. Brown ran for 352 yards and scored seven times. Kirkwood improved to 3-3 with the victory.

DJ Burgess, RB-LB, Parkway Central

Burgess, a junior, scored four touchdowns in the first half as the Colts rolled in a 44-7 win against visiting Northwest Cedar Hill on Thursday. Burgess, who has a team-high 18 touchdowns, scored three times in the first quarter – on two runs and an interception return – and added his fourth score in the second quarter. He was coming off a 319-yard rushing performance in Week 6 against McCluer North.

Wil Carlton, QB, Marionville

He ran for four touchdowns to help the Comets dominate Sarcoxie, 44-6, in a Southwest Conference clash. Three of the senior's four rushing scores came in the first half.

Isaiah Davis, WR, Jackson

The junior had six touchdowns in his first five games but broke out for three scores – from two different passers – on Friday. Davis hauled in scores of 1, 20 and 22 yards in a 76-0 victory over Confluence Prep.

Max Ervie, QB-K, St. Pius X (KC)

St. Pius X snapped a two-game losing streak thanks to Ervie’s big night. The quarterback ran the ball 44 times for 153 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-6 win over St. Joseph Benton. He also kicked a 34-yard field goal.

Joseph Federer, QB, Parkway West

A junior, Federer fueled the Longhorns’ big 42-7 win at Parkway South on Thursday. He passed for 214 yards and four touchdowns – both career highs – and ran for 81 yards and a touchdown as Parkway West improved to 5-2.

Gabe Fields, RB, St. Joseph Central

The Indians improved to 4-3 on the year with a come-from-behind win against Excelsior Springs. Fields scored five of his six rushing touchdowns in the second half and finished with 331 yards on 24 carries.

Luke Gall, RB-LB, Carthage

It wouldn’t be a Friday night top performer list without Gall. The do-everything standout for the Tigers had another big night on both sides of the ball. He recorded 12 tackles and added 182 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. The Class 5 top-ranked Tigers rallied from an early deficit for a 28-14 win over No. 5 Webb City.

Peyton Garr, RB, Cameron

The junior did a little bit of everything, scoring on offense, defense and special teams in a 50-6 win over St. Joseph Lafayette. He ran the ball six times for 100 yards and two touchdowns. After the Irish scored the first points to take an early lead, he returned a kickoff 92 yards for a score. He had a pick-six late in the second quarter to make it 30-6 at the break.

Grant Gibson, QB, Rockwood Summit

The Falcons made it five wins in a row with a 48-28 win over Oakville. Gibson threw three touchdowns in the second quarter and finished with four total touchdown passes and 278 yards through the air as Summit improved to 6-1.

Zach Grace, TE, Kearney

The senior had three catches for 83 yards, but scored on two of them in a 53-12 win over Raytown South in a Suburban Conference Blue Division win. Grace also scored a rushing touchdown for the now 7-0 Bulldogs.

Gerard Grewe, QB, Priory

Grewe accounted for 246 total yards and four touchdowns in the Ravens' 32-0 win at Alton Marquette on Thursday. He passed for 145 yards and a touchdown and ran for 101 and three scores. 

Ethan Hansen, QB, Rockhurst

The junior accounted for three total touchdowns in a 35-21 win over Blue Springs. Hansen completed 14 of his 18 attempts for 224 yards and a pair of scores. He ran the ball eight times for 30 yards and a touchdown.

Trenton Livingston, RB-DB, Parkway West

Livingston, a junior, racked up 183 total yards and two touchdowns in the Longhorns’ victory at Parkway South on Thursday. He caught four passes for 113 yards and a touchdown and ran for 70 yards and a score. He has scored five touchdowns in his last two games and leads West with 12. He also added five tackles and a fumble recovery in the 42-7 road win.

Cole McKey, QB, Christian Brothers College

The junior quarterback was a perfect 7-for-7 passing for 148 yards and tossed three touchdowns in CBC’s 64-6 win over Vianney. McKey threw two of his touchdown passes in a 34-point first quarter.

Drew Miller, QB, Helias

Miller threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 73 yards and a score as Helias defeated rival Jefferson City 38-21.

Connor O’Neal, QB, Ft. Zumwalt North

In a 49-7 win over Wentzville Liberty, O’Neal accounted for six total touchdowns. He finished with 166 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 17 carries, while going 7-for-12 passing for 91 yards and two more touchdowns.

Mark Panagos, QB, Scott City

Accounted for three touchdowns in a 60-7 win over Chaffee on Friday. The junior had touchdown passes of 43 and 40 yards, while adding a 6-yard run for a touchdown as well.

Nick Phillips, WR, Brentwood

Phillips caught four passes for 128 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles' 48-16 win at Bishop DuBourg. The senior wideout entered the game with three touchdowns in the first six weeks. 

Quinn Renfro, RB, Joplin

The junior made an impact early and set the tone for the Eagles in a 35-7 win over Carl Junction. He ran for 161 of his 171 yards in the first half and had three touchdowns. His longest was a 96-yard score after the Eagles forced a turnover on downs inside the 10-yard line. Renfro added a 2-point conversion pass as well in the win.

Ethan Ritter, QB, Brentwood

The junior helped the Eagles improve to 6-1 with a five-touchdown showing in a 48-16 win at Bishop DuBourg. Ritter was 10-for-20 passing for 243 yards. 

Cole Ruble, QB, Seckman

The Southeast Missouri State commit scored in overtime and ran in the 2-pint conversion that proved to be the game-winner in a 50-48 win over Pattonville. He ran for five scores as the Jaguars improved to 6-1.

Zack Shelby, QB, Lincoln College Prep

The senior accounted for three touchdowns in a 42-22 win over Oak Grove. Shelby was 10 for 15 through the air for 169 with two touchdowns – both going to Alonzo Byrd. Shelby also ran in a score for the Blue Tigers, now 6-1.

Jared Siler, RB, Neosho

Neosho won back-to-back games for the first time since 2018 and Siler was a big reason why. The senior accounted for touchdown runs of 1, 1, 6, 7 and 66 yards in a 63-42 win over Ozark in an Central Ozark Conference clash.

Jason Wiley, QB, Christian Brothers College

Wiley split quarterback duties with Cole McKey (see above) and also threw three touchdowns in a 64-6 win over Vianney. The sophomore completed 8 of 12 passes for 119 yards. Wiley and McKey each tossed two touchdowns in the first quarter.  

Austin Wilkerson, RB, Lamar

In a battle of state-ranked foes, Lamar picked up a 47-26 win over Nevada on Friday thanks to a big night from Wilkerson. The senior standout ran for a trio of touchdowns to help Lamar retain possession of the traveling ‘Silver Tiger Trophy’ the two rivals compete for.

Ryan Wingo, WR, SLUH

Wingo hauled in five catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, while adding a 47-yard punt return for a score as well. SLUH improved to 3-4 on the year with a 42-19 win against Chaminade.

Cameron Wolfe, LB/S, Platte County

The senior recorded two of the Pirates’ four interceptions in a 38-8 victory over Belton. Platte County improved to 3-4, winners of two straight.

Cam Zaun, QB, St. Michael the Archangel

The first-year starting quarterback was 12 of 20 for 175 yards and four touchdowns in a 54-0 victory over Kansas City Southeast. Caleb Briggs hauled in two of the four scores from the junior.
