Photos: Natalie Potts leads Incarnate Word past Vashon for 88th consecutive win
WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. – Natalie Potts scored 36 points to lead Incarnate Word Academy to a 72-61 win over Vashon in the title game of the Webster Winter Challenge at Webster Groves High School.
The victory was the 88th straight for Incarnate Word (20-0) is ranked sixth in the SBLive Power 25 national girls basketball rankings and is the No. 1 team in the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 6 rankings.
Potts, a University of Nebraska signee, paced the offense but had help. Brooke Coffey and Kaylynn James each added 10 points in the win.
The top-ranked team in Class 4 in the MBCA poll, Vashon (16-5) got 18 points apiece from Janyla Bush and Raychel Jones, 14 points from Chantrel Clayton and 10 from Bri Collins.
