Camryn Alsdorf, Jackson girls soccer
She recorded her fourth straight shutout in net for the Indians in a 7-0 win over Cape Girardeau Central on Tuesday, May 2. She hasn’t given up a goal since April 18.
Zoey Becklenberg, Parkway Central girls soccer
The goalkeeper had a shutout and helped the Colts pick up a Suburban Conference Red Pool showdown with Ladue Horton Watkins with a 1-0 win Saturday, May 6. That was the first win in the series for Parkway Central since 2015.
J’Lea Berry, William Chrisman girls soccer
The senior came up big on senior night with a hat trick to help the Bears beat Raytown South on Thursday, May 4.
Jozelynn Bostick, Centralia girls track and field
She was named the Clarence Cannon Conference Athlete of the Year Award at the CCC track meet after winning the 800-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs and anchored the 4x800-meter relay champs.
Ella Brown, Liberty girls track and field
The sophomore swept the distance events at the Greater Kansas City Suburban Silver Conference track meet on Thursday, May 4, winning the 800-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs for the Blue Jays.
Cole Bruenderman, Cape Notre Dame boys track and field
Took first place in the long jump (22 feet, 9 3/4 inches) and triple jump (43-1) at the Sikeston Twilight Relays on Wednesday, May 3.
Connor Burns, Southern Boone County boys track and field
The future Oregon Duck broke a national high school record in the 5,000-meter run at the On Running Track Fest with a time of 13:37.30. Former Olympian Galen Rupp of Oregon held the previous record of 13:37.90 for 19 years.
Kyle Byrne, CBC baseball
The Drury baseball signee hit a grand slam and finished with five RBIs, while going 2-for-3 at the plate, in a 14-4 win over Chaminade.
Jackson Carter, Ft. Zumwalt East boys track and field
He picked up a first-place finish in the Gateway Athletic Conference Central meet and broke the school record with a time of 10.89 in the 100-meter dash.
Zach Cato, Park Hill boys golf
The Trojans were second in the team standings at the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference Silver Division title and Cato was the conference champion after shooting a 78 on Monday, May 1.
Ben Chance, Bowling Green boys track and field
He set a second school record when he ran 4:24.37 in the 1,600-meter run on Friday at the Hillsboro Invitational, breaking Philip Lagemann’s mark set in 2015. Chance set the 3,200-meter record earlier this season.
Carolyn Cronin, Northwest (Cedar Hill) girls track and field
The junior won a trio of conference championships by taking first in the high jump, long jump and 100-meter hurdles at the Suburban Conference Yellow Division.
Carter Crosnoe, Cape Central baseball
A week after breaking the school’s all-time hit record, Crosnoe was 2-for-4 with a triple to help Central beat Chaffee, 8-5, on Sunday, April 30 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Crosnoe hit .481 in the month of April.
Natalie Danner, Marquette girls track and field
The junior stayed undefeated this season in the javelin by winning the Suburban Yellow Girls Conference Championships with a throw of 32.2 meters. She’s won all four events she has competed in and set a school record in April.
Owen Derryberry, Carthage boys golf
Fired a 71 through 18 holes to tie with Jack Spencer of Carl Junction and then Derryberry won a two-hole playoff at the Central Ozark Conference championship on Tuesday in Carl Junction. The Tigers also won the COC team title.
Jackson Downing, Liberty North baseball
The Arkansas State signee was 3-for-4 with a home run, drove in three runs and scored twice in a 5-2 win over Ray-Pec on Friday. Earlier in the week, he was 4-for-6 with a home run and seven RBIs in a 21-15 win over Staley.
Kirsten Fairhurst, Sikeston girls track and field
She won the long jump event with a leap of 17 feet, 4 inches and was on the winning 4x100-meter relay and 400-meter shuttle hurdle relay and was part of a runner-up finish in the 800 sprint medley relay at the Sikeston Twilight Relays.
Isabella Flores, Cameron girls track and field
A jump of 2.44 meters — her personal best — gave her a runner-up finish at the Midland Empire Conference Championship and tied a school record in the process.
Zach Grace, Kearney boys track and field
The Central Missouri football recruit broke a pair of track and field records – a 13-year-old school record in the shot put with a throw of 55 feet, 5 inches and a 27-year-old discus record at 184-1.
Tyler Harris, Kickapoo boys track and field
The future Drury runner won the Ozark Conference title in the 1,600-meter run with a conference-record time of 4:20.25 — and stayed undefeated in that event this year.
Owen Herbert, Grain Valley boys golf
Won medalist honors at the Greater Kansas City Suburban White Division championship by shooting a 75. He also helped his Eagles win the team title by 32 shots on Monday.
Aiden Hinkle, Oak Park baseball
In an 8-4 loss to Blue Springs on Monday, May 1, the junior collected career hit No. 118, breaking the all-time record for the Northmen.
Cole Horton, Savannah boys tennis
For the third year in a row, Horton took first place in the Class 1 District 16 individual tennis tournament, winning in singles. He is one of three Savages heading to the sectional meet.
Wyatt Hughes, Houston baseball
The right-hander struck out 17 batters in an 8-2 win over Ellington on May 3, one of the top 25 performances in MSHSAA history in a seven-inning game.
Noa Isaia, Seckman boys track and field
The Arkansas State signee picked up new school records in the shot put (16.33 meters) and discus (55.3 meters) and won titles in each at the Suburban Conference Yellow Pool Boys Meet.
Jonathan Jordan, Rolla boys golf
Shot an impressive 67 to help claim first place at the Class 4 District 3 meet in Marshfield to punch his ticket to the state meet.
Davis Jungbluth, Bishop LeBlond boys golf
Shot a 74 and won the Midland Empire Conference championship by two strokes and helped his team win the league title by 29 shots.
Reagan Kimrey, Pleasant Hill girls track and field
The Missouri track and field pledge broke the school and Missouri River Valley Conference record in the shot put with a throw of 13.76 meters on May 5.
Trevor Klein, East Buchanan boys track and field
He won the triple jump district title and was second in the long jump and helped the Bulldogs win their first district title since 1987.
Nicholas Koch, Liberty boys tennis
Joined with teammate Spencer Weishaar to win the Class 3 District 8 doubles championship — the second straight together — and the third overall for Koch.
Hailey Kroeger, Palmyra girls track and field
At the Last Chance Meet at Timberland, the junior set a new school record with a javelin throw of 34.90 meters.
Ian Lambert, Jackson boys golf
The sophomore shot an even-par 72 to take first place and win medalist honors at the Class 5 District 1 meet in Festus.
Clayton Layden, Lone Jack baseball
The right-hander gave up three hits and fanned 12 in 6 2/3 innings to help the Mules beat Plattsburg 3-0 on May 1.
Ava Lawless, Kearney girls track and field
The Illinois State signee set four school records and scored 38 points in the Suburban Conference Blue Division championship on May 3. She won the 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash, long jump and triple jump.
Wil Libbert, Blair Oaks baseball
The Missouri left-handed pitching signee was dazzling in a 12-1 win over Columbia Battle on Tuesday, striking out 18 in his six innings of work.
Josh Lumby, Lee’s Summit West boys golf
His four-over 76 was the lowest score at the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference Gold Division championship on May 2 at Fred Arbanas Golf Course. The Titans also won the league title with a 315, nine better than Liberty North.
Ryan McDonald, Troy Buchanan baseball
The St. Charles Community College signee tossed his second no-hitter of the season with a 3-0 blanking of Francis Howell Central on Wednesday.
Levi McKinnie, Chaffee baseball
The right-hander was nearly untouchable in a 1-0 win over Scott City on Wednesday, striking out 17 and giving up two hits in 6 2/3 innings.
Mayliyah Miller, Columbia Battle girls soccer
Recorded a hat trick in a 3-2 win over Wright City on May 5, which broke the single-season record for the Spartans with 35 goals.
Maggie Mudd, Francis Howell girls lacrosse
Helped the Vikings pick up an 11-4 win over Francis Howell Central with six goals and recorded 11 goals in two games.
Gavin Nichols, Platte County boys tennis
He took first place in singles at the Class 2 District 8 individual tournament, his third district championship.
Jacobi Oliphant, SLUH boys track and field
The junior swept the 110- and 300-meter hurdles titles and was on the 4x200- and 4x400 relay teams that took first at the MCC Championships.
Bryson Pickard, Union boys track and field
The senior was named the male conference athlete of the year by the Four Rivers Conference coaches after winning the 200-, 400- and 800-meter dashes and also a member of the winning 4x400-meter relay team on Monday.
Reese Pickett, Platte County girls track and field
In the Greater Kansas City White Suburban Championships, she jumped 11.23 meters in the triple jump and broke the school record held since 2009 of 10.93 meters. She won that event and high jump and was second in the long jump.
Will Poelker, De Smet boys track and field
The sophomore set a new personal best with a time of 9:47.4 in the 3,200-meter and won the race at the MCC Championships on May 3 at CBC.
Kinley Rogers, Excelsior Springs girls track and field
The freshman took first place in the Suburban Blue Conference Championship with a school-record throw in the javelin of 35.36 meters on May 3. She was the runner-up in the shot put event as well.
Madison Rogers, Grain Valley girls track and field
Ran 12.68 in the 100-meter dash to break a 21-year school record — set by Sara Wilke in 2002 — and take first place in the Suburban Conference White Division Championship.
Ashley Rusthoven, Ft. Zumwalt East girls track and field
The junior was second in the discus and won the Gateway Athletic Conference Central shot put title with a throw of 11.71 meters — a new school and conference record on Thursday, May 4.
Brice Shearburn, John Burroughs boys track and field
The senior broke the school record in the 1,600-meter run at the LHS Cougars Last Chance with a time of 4:20.61, besting the mark by current pro runner Brandon Miller (4:23.00).
Addison Smith, Liberty baseball
The Oklahoma State signee was 2-for-2 with two doubles, 3 RBIs and scored three runs and struck out four in 2 1/3 innings of work on the mound in a 11-10 win over Lee’s Summit North. Earlier this past week, he had a 29-game hitting streak snapped.
Trey Snyder, Liberty North baseball
The junior and Tennessee pledge was a perfect 6-for-6 at the plate in a 21-15 win over Staley on Monday, May 1.
Chase Sorrell, East Newton boys track and field
Won the 800, 1,600- and 3,200-meter races at the Big 8 Conference on Tuesday and broke the conference record in the 1,600 with a time of 4:21.13 — breaking the mark of 4:28.64 that stood since 1989.
Tracen Tate, Hillcrest boys track and field
The senior swept the discus and shot put titles at the Ozark Conference meet on May 3, throwing 50.23 and 16.31 meters, respectively. The discus throw is a new conference record.
Josh Thomas, Warrensburg baseball
Had a pair of big games for the Tigers. He was 4-for-5 with a double and triple and four RBIs in a 14-3 win against Center on Monday. On Thursday, he provided the walk-off hit in a 5-4 victory over Oak Grove.
Taylor Utley, Plato softball
She tossed a no-hitter in the Class 1 District 4 tournament, a 20-0 win for the Lady Eagles over Koshkonog on May 5.
Devon Vandiver, Northwest (Cedar Hill) boys track and field
He picked up all-conference honors in four events: long jump, shot put, high jump and triple jump and won league championships in the latter two on Thursday.
Aaron Venneman, Bishop DuBourg baseball
In a 16-7 win over Grandview, he was 3-for-4 with five RBIs, including a three-run home, and struck out three over 4 2/3 innings on the mound.
Kylee Walters, Sarcoxie girls softball
The starting pitcher fanned 15 batters and gave up only three hits on the mound, while going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs in a 12-3 win over East Newton in the Class 2 District 6 Tournament on Saturday.
Sydney Ward, Carl Junction girls track and field
The sophomore broke new conference records in the 100-meter dash (12.12) and 200-meter dash (25.23) and was on the winning 4x200-meter relay during the Central Ozark Conference Championships on Wednesday, May 3.
Payton Wehner, Lebanon baseball
The right-hander threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings and struck out five to help the Yellowjackets beat Glendale, 1-0 on Thursday. The McKendree baseball pledge is now 9-0 on the year for a team that is 19-8.
