Here are the candidates for SBLive's Missouri High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Corbin Allen, Oak Park boys basketball
The standout junior guard had 38 points and 20 rebounds in two games at the Missouri basketball championships, including a double-double against Chaminade on Friday.
Troy Anderson, Warrenton baseball
In a 16-2 win over Valley Park on Saturday, he got the win by pitching into the third inning and giving up one hit. At the plate, the senior drove in five runs and hit a home run.
Nassir Binion, Vashon boys basketball
The 6-foot-4 senior scored a game-high 25 points in the Class 4 championship game and added 15 in a semifinal win for the Wolverines.
Cade Bohm, Moberly baseball
The junior went 2-for-4 with six RBIs to help the Spartans beat Macon, 15-5, on Friday in the season opener.
Jolie Bonderer, Chillicothe girls basketball
The William Jewell signee scored 49 points at state, flirting with a triple-double in the semifinals with 39 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Lady Hornets.
Chase Branham, Logan-Rogersville boys basketball
The freshman point guard had a pair of big games at the Missouri basketball championships with 48 total points. In the Class 4 third-place game, he scored 31 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Dekyreone Coleman, Winnetonka boys basketball
The senior had a pair of 23-point games for the Griffins at the Missouri basketball championships this past weekend. He helped ‘Tonka bring home the school’s first-ever basketball final-four trophy.
Nashawn Davis, Cardinal Ritter boys basketball
The 6-6 forward had 10 points in the semifinals for the Lions and then had a game-high 18 points in the Class 6 title game on Saturday. He also drew six fouls and hit seven of 10 shots from the field.
Khloe Dischbein, Park Hills Central girls basketball
The senior guard helped the Lady Rebels reach the Class 4 title game, scoring a game-high 24 points in the championship game loss Thursday against Lift for Life.
Dillon Duff, De Smet boys basketball
Duff hit five of eight 3-point attempts in the state title game and finished with 17 points for the Class 5 champions. The standout junior, a Kansas State quarterback commit, added 18 points and rebounds in the Spartans’ semifinal victory.
Keion Epps, Springfield Central boys basketball
He helped the Bulldogs pick up their best finish since 1945 by taking third place in Class 6 on Saturday. Epps had 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the win against Oak Park.
Symon Ghai, Vianney boys basketball
The 7-3 sophomore center had a double-double in both games at the Missouri basketball championships for the Griffins. He posted 22 points and 10 rebounds in the third-place game and had 16 points and 13 rebounds in the semifinals.
Darius Graham, Poplar Bluff boys track and field
The senior and returning Class 5 state champion, opened the 2024 season by winning at the Notre Dame Frozen Invitational on Saturday in Cape Girardeau. He jumped 6-feet-6 in the high jump to win and was second in the long jump, setting a new personal record in the event.
Elise Greene, Hazelwood Central girls track and field
The senior took first place in the shot put with a throw of 38-2 1/4 inches, winning the competition by more than 7 inches at the Mike Rodgers Invitational on Saturday.
Noah Harman, Windsor Imperial boys track and field
At the Potosi Trojan Invitational on Friday, the senior won both the 100-meter dash (11.06) and the 200-meter dash (22.84) races in the season-opening event. The 100-meter time broke a school record.
Zha'Viara Harris, Lift for Life girls basketball
The Lady Hawks won the Class 4 championship and Harris played a big role in both games in Columbia. The sophomore had 18 points and nine steals in the finals after tallying 32 points in the semifinals.
Peyton Hill, Incarnate Word girls basketball
She was the only Red Knight to score in double figures in both games of the Missouri basketball championships. The junior had hit five of seven shots in the Class 6 title game and finished with a game-high 17 points to lead her team to a seventh straight championship on Saturday. She had 10 in the semifinal win against Rock Bridge.
Tyler Holman, Liberty (Wentzville) baseball
The Saint Louis University-bound senior right-hander allowed one hit and struck out five with three walks in four shutout innings pitched against Francis Howell on Saturday.
Mackenzie Lawless, Scott City softball
The right-hander gave up one hit and one run and fanned 8 on the mound in an 11-1 win over Greenville on Friday. The senior was also 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple and drove in three runs.
Dennis Leonard, Grain Valley baseball
The junior right-hander – with the namesake of his grandfather, a member of the Kansas City Royals' Hall of Fame – struck out 11 to help the Eagles beat Rockhurst 5-0 on Saturday. He gave up only four hits in the complete-game effort.
Amaya Manuel, Lift for Life girls basketball
The freshman guard led her squad with 19 points in the Class 4 state championship game over Park Hills Central on Thursday.
Jordan Martin, Jefferson City boys basketball
The junior standout had a double-double in a Class 5 semifinal game with 20 points and 12 rebounds — while adding six steals for the Jays. In the Class 5 title game, the Arkansas baseball commit led Jefferson City with 23 points.
Alyssa O’Connor, Park Hills Central girls basketball
She recorded a double-double in the Lady Rebels’ semifinal win against Owensville with 10 points and 18 rebounds. In that contest, she also surpassed the 1,000-point mark in her career.
Collin Perry, Chaminade boys basketball
The junior guard had a double-double in the semifinals with 12 points and 18 rebounds. He added nine more rebounds in the Class 6 title game and added eight points for the runner-up Red Devils.
Mikayla Pilley, Springfield Kickapoo girls basketball
The junior scored a game-high 18 points in a Class 6 semifinal win for the Lady Chiefs. She followed up by tying for a team-high with 13 points — with Josie Salazar — in the Class 6 championship game on Saturday.
Jayda Porter, Rock Bridge girls basketball
The Bruins’ 6-4 sophomore forward had 25 rebounds in two games at the Missouri basketball championships, including posting a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds in the Class 6 third-place game on Saturday.
Ramzi Salem, John Burroughs boys basketball
The senior guard had a team-high 21 points in the Class 4 championship game on Saturday. He helped the Bombers reach a title game for the first time since 1953.
Jordan Speiser, Lutheran St. Charles girls basketball
The standout junior guard led the Cougars in scoring in the state semifinals and state title game, scoring 37 points in the two games.
Allie Turner, John Burroughs girls basketball
The Gonzaga signee guided John Burroughs to a second title in three years in a 57-41 win over Lutheran St. Charles on March 14. She had 42 points in the two games at Mizzou Arena, leading her team in scoring in both games.
Peyton Ward, Marshfield girls basketball
The 6-1 freshman scored in double figures in both games in Columbia for the Lady Jays. She had 14 in the third-place game victory against Smithville.
Lauren Wood, Liberty North girls soccer
The future Kansas Jayhawk had a hat trick in the season-opener on Saturday in a 4-0 win over Incarnate Word Academy.
Nate Wright, Herculaneum boys track and field
The junior set a new school record in the 800-meter run (1:55.23) at the Festus/Herky Dual held on Friday in Festus.
