Preseason 'C' (8-man) Montana high school football rankings: Flint Creek co-op will try and extend winning ways with new coach
SBLive surveyed the Montana high school ‘C’ football landscape, and compiled a comprehensive look at the state entering the 2021 fall season.
Here are the preseason 'C' Top 5 rankings:
1. Flint Creek (Drummond-Philipsburg)
2020 record: 12-0
Titans have posted three undefeated state-championship runs in past four seasons, including last fall.
2. Scobey-Opheim
2020 record: 10-2
Spartans want to take it one step further this fall after losing in the state finals to Flint Creek (44-8).

3. Fort Benton
2020 record: 8-1
Longhorns were rudely eliminated in state semifinals, and must find replacement for QB Billy Ullery.
4. Park City
2020 record: 6-2
Intriguing team with offensive firepower, led by returning QB Jake Gauthier; lost in 2020 quarterfinals.
5. Shelby
2020 record: 6-2
Coyotes only dropped to 8-man level in 2018, and were in the state semifinals a year ago.
