Each week, SBLive Montana will update its all-classification top-10 high school football rankings.

Here is the Week 10 list, compiled by SBLive Montana correspondent Doug Drowley:

1. MISSOULA SENTINEL (8-0)

Last week: First round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts No. 9 Helena Capital on Friday night.

Spartans begin defense of 'AA' title against the Bruins, whom they beat, 32-0, in mid-October - part of Sentinels' current 19-game winning streak.

2. BILLINGS WEST (8-1)

Last week: First round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Glacier on Friday night.

During eight-game winning streak, Golden Bears have outscored opponents, 337-40. Now, they face the power run game of Jake Rendina and the Wolfpack.

3. HAMILTON (8-0)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Sidney on Friday night.

Broncs come off the bye, will face a 5-5 Eagles squad that needed a field goal in the final minute to oust Beaverhead County from the bracket.

4. LAUREL (8-0)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Custer County (Miles City) on Friday night.

Locomotives get a Cowboys' squad that built a 21-7 lead after three quarters against Columbia Falls on Saturday, but had to hold off fourth-quarter rally.

5. FLORENCE-CARLTON (9-0)

Last week: Beat Cut Bank, 37-0.

This week: Plays Columbus on Friday night.

Falcons had no problem with one-win Cut Bank; now get an 8-1 Cougars team that beat Baker, 50-8, in the first round.

6. HELENA (8-2)

Last week: Beat Gallatin, 42-28.

This week: Travels to play No. 10 Bozeman on Friday night.

Bengals will face the Hawks in the quarterfinals for the third consecutive season. Bozeman has won each of the past two playoff meetings.

7. BUTTE (6-3)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Great Falls on Friday night.

One of state's hottest teams - the Bison – are coming to town on a six-game winning streak, including a 41-14 win over Big Sky a week ago.

8. POLSON (8-0)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Billings Central on Friday night.

Pirates got a week to sit and watch before getting a 7-2 Rams team and its powerful run game, coming off a first-round rout of Libby, 54-12.

9. HELENA CAPITAL (6-3)

Last week: Beat C M Russell, 45-7.

This week: Travels to No. 1 Sentinel on Friday night.

Bruins draw the behemoth of ‘AA’ in the quarterfinals coming off a victory that was the most lopsided of any of the four first-round games.

10. BOZEMAN (5-4)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts No. 6 Helena on Friday night.

Hawks look for their third consecutive quarterfinal playoff victory over the Bengals, whom they’ve beaten each of the past two seasons in this round.
