Congratulations to Beaverhead County boys track & field star Treyton Anderson for being voted SBLive’s Montana High School Athlete of the Week for March 28-April 3!

The senior went a personal record 22.24 seconds in the 200 meters and 14.74 in the 110 high hurdles at the Frenchtown Invitational, giving Anderson the top spot in the state in the 100 (11.20) and 200, as well as in the 110 and 300 intermediate hurdles after two weeks of competition.

Anderson ran away with this week’s honor, receiving 58.33% of the total vote.

Here are the other athletes who were nominated for March 28-April 3:

Hudson Lembke, Sentinel boys track and field: Ran 11.20 to tie the state’s best mark in the 100 meters at a quad event on April 1.

Scott Klinker, Great Falls boys track and field: Long-jumped a personal record 21-10.75 in a dual meet against Skyview to take over the state lead in the event.

Claire Hutchison, Stevensville girls track and field: Set season marks in the 100 and 200 meters at the Frenchtown Invite, winning in 13.02 in the 100 and 26.42 in the 200.

Brooke Thompson, Billings West softball: Hit a pair of home runs and had four RBI as the Golden Bears clobbered Sentinel, 19-5, and improved to 6-0 this season.

Tehneson Ehnes, Great Falls softball: Went 3-for-5 at the plate, including a two-run home run, and hurled a complete game as the Bison beat Class AA Butte, 19-4, in five innings.

Kennedy Dypwick, Sentinel softball: Collected three hits and three RBI in softball losses to Billings West and Billings Senior over the weekend, including a 3-run HR against the Golden Bears.
