Congratulations to Hamilton boys track and field standout Taylor Searle for being voted SBLive’s Montana High School Athlete of the Week for April 18-24!

The sophomore pole vaulted 14 feet, one inch at the Columbia Falls Iceberg Invitational, a state overall best this spring.

Here are the other athletes who were nominated for April 18-24:

Carter White, Frenchtown boys track and field: Set three personal bests at the Columbia Falls Iceberg Invitational, winning the long jump in a state-best this spring of 22 feet, 6.5 inches, and adding the triple jump in 42-2.5 and the 100 meters in 11.05.

Ridger Palma, Loyola Sacred-Heart boys track and field: At the Seeley-Swan Invite, won the 400 in a season state-best time of 49.73 seconds and added the 100 title in 11.62.

Treyton Anderson, Beaverhead County boys track and field: At the Seeley-Swan Invite, won the 200 in a season state-best time of 22.09.

Keagan Crosby, Sentinel boys track and field: Won the 800 and the 3,200 at the Swede Dahlberg Invitational in a personal record and state best this spring of 1:57.56 in the 800 and 9:47.07 in the 3,200.

Odessa Zentz, Helena girls track and field: Set three state bests this past week, beginning with the 400 meters in 58.03 seconds at a tri-meet with Capital and Big Sky; then went 25.50 in the 200 and 2:17.82 in the 800 at the Great Falls Optimist Club Meet.

Brooke Staynor, Sentinel girls track and field: Won two events at the Great Falls Optimist Club Meet, the 100 hurdles in a state-best this spring of 14.64 seconds and also the 300 in 45.83.

Avery Martin, Billings West softball: Hit two home runs and had five RBI in a come-from-behind, 15-9 victory over C.M. Russell.

Mya Boos, Billings West softball: Totaled five RBI to go with two home runs in a pair of victories, the 15-9 win over Russell and a 14-0 victory over Great Falls.

Kasidy Yeoman, Florence-Carlton softball: Had a home run and five RBI during a 16-0 softball victory over Thompson Falls.

Hailey Coey, Billings West girls track and field: Won the triple jump in a state-best 37-9 at the Great Falls Optimist Club Meet.
