Running back Mike Davis got good news Tuesday with the announcement that the Baltimore Ravens had signed the former Atlanta Falcon.

But it's been a difficult past week for the former Stephenson High School (Stone Mountain, Georgia) star.

Sports Illustrated reported Davis had over $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his Atlanta-area home on Wednesday, according to Cobb County police records obtained by ESPN.

But Davis announced on Twitter over the weekend that the jewelry wasn't the most valuable item stolen.

A pair of cleats stolen had been dedicated to his father, Michael Oliver, who died of cancer in 2019.

Davis starred for Stephenson in high school before playing for Steve Spurrier at South Carolina.

He rushed for 503 yards and three touchdowns in 17 games with the Atlanta Falcons in 2021.

The SI report listed some of the stolen items as a diamond necklace with the No. 28, valued at $25,000, and another diamond necklace with “MD,” valued at $25,000 along with two Cartier bracelets, four tennis chains and a Gucci handbag.
