Wherever Bronny James goes in the NBA, expect LeBron James to follow

LeBron James has been steadfast that he intends to remain a Los Angeles Laker.

But one dominant factor, according to Bleacher Report, could persuade arguably the best basketball player of all time to switch teams yet again: his son, Bronny.

Bronny James is entering his senior year with Southern California basketball power Sierra Canyon High School, and he'll be NBA Draft-eligible in 2024.

LeBron James is entering the final year of his contract with the Lakers, with whom he's won one NBA title (in the bubble year), got eliminated in the first round once and missed the playoffs twice.

"My last year will be played with my son," LeBron James told The Athletic's Jason Lloyd in February. "Wherever Bronny is at, that's where I'll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It's not about the money at that point."

Bronny James is listed as a four-star prospect in 247 Sports' composite rankings and No. 43 overall in the Class of 2023, so he has a long way to go before reaching the NBA.

But whichever team LeBron James is playing for in 2024 — the season in which he'll turn 40 — it's safe to guess he'll lobby to have his son join him there.

Or if another team picks Bronny in the draft, expect LeBron to do his best to follow him there.
