High school football 2022: When is each state's first full week of the season?

From Alabama to Wyoming, here's a state-by-state look at when high school football kicks into full gear

School still hasn't started in several states, but high school football is here again with Week 0 upon us in many states and Week 1 in others.

Hawaii and Alaska kicked off first, while Utah got the ball rolling last week in the Lower 48.

Here's an A-through-Z (or W, more accurately) look at when each state plays (or played) its first full week of high school football in 2022.

Since Friday is typically the biggest game day in high school football, each week is defined by Friday's date.
