In case you missed it, LeBron James is set to play basketball in Seattle for the first time in over 15 years.

The Los Angeles Lakers star forward announced Friday he will return to the city for NBA legend Jamal Crawford’s Pro-Am event dubbed The Crawsover. One fan decided not to take any chances when it comes to witnessing “King James” take the court.

Kareem Copeland, a reporter covering the WNBA’s Mystics for the Washington Post, was in the Pacific Northwest for the team’s playoff series against the Seattle Storm. While leaving the Mystics’ practice Friday afternoon at Seattle Pacific University, the same place where The Crawsover will be played Saturday, the reporter spotted a fan who had pitched a tent next to the front steps of the building.

In addition to the 18-time NBA all star James, the game features Seattle-area natives Dejounte Murray, Paolo Banchero, Isaiah Thomas and MarJon Beauchamp, along with former Gonzaga star Chet Holmgren.

James last played in Seattle in January 2007 when the Cavaliers defeated Ray Allen and the Supersonics in a regular season game.
