Chris Jones didn’t forget where he came from.

The three-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion signed an $80 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in July 2020, and some of his fortune will be going back to his old high school.

With the Chiefs on a bye week, Jones returned to Houston (Mississippi) on Saturday and presented the school’s athletics department with a check for $200,000.

Jones was a five-star recruit and the state’s top-ranked prospect in the class of 2013. After three years at Mississippi State, the defensive lineman was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft by the Chiefs.

As a senior at Houston, Jones posted 160 tackles, 46 tackles fo loss and 14 sacks and helped the team win its first playoff game in program history.
