Braelyn Baker, Bear Creek (Washington)

Baker set a new all-classification state meet record in the 300 hurdles with a time of 41.02 — the sixth-fastest nationally this season — at the Class 1A state championships. The junior also won gold medals in the 100 (11.92), 200 (23.55) and long jump (17-5.25).

Evie Bliss, Union (Pennsylvania)

Bliss took first place in the javelin at the Class 2A state meet with a throw of 170-2, a new Pennsylvania record. The senior’s toss ranks second in the country this spring.

Mia Brahe-Pedersen, Lake Oswego (Oregon)

Brahe-Pedersen put on a show at the Class 6A state championships, earning individual gold medals in the 100 (11 seconds) and 200 (22.65) while running legs for Lake Oswego’s winning 4X100 and 4X400 relay teams. The junior broke her old state record of 11.08 in the 100 while lowering her nation-leading time.

Emma Cooke, Glacier (Montana)

Cooke went 4 for 6 with two home runs and five RBIs as Glacier captured the Class AA state title with a 19-7 victory over Helena.

Sadie Engelhardt, Ventura (California)

Engelhardt set a new CIF state meet record in the 1,600 with a winning time of 4:33.45, six seconds faster than runner-up Ashlyn Boothby of Scotts Valley (4:39.45). The two times rank first and second nationally this season.

Gretchen Farley, Park Tudor (Indiana)

Farley won the 800 at the Pike Regional with a time of 2:05.88, the second-fastest in state history and fifth-best in the country this spring.

Brooke Gerry, Windham (Maine)

Gerry struck out 18 and didn’t allow a hit in a 1-0 victory over Kennebunk/Sanford.

Madeline Herman, Avon (Indiana)

Herman threw a 14-strikeout no-hitter in a 1-0 win over Terre Haute North.

Macy Kellar, Newman Catholic (Iowa)

Kellar fired a no-hitter with just one walk and 12 strikeouts as Newman Catholic edged Osage, 1-0.

Skyye Lee, Parkway Central (Missouri)

Lee picked up four gold medals at the Class 4 championships and set four new school records, winning the 100 (11.67), 200 (24.19), 100 hurdles (13.36) and 300 hurdles (43.31). The junior’s 100 hurdles time ranks sixth nationally this spring.

Jordan Lucas, Fredonia (New York)

Five days after throwing a no-hitter, Lucas tossed a perfect game with 16 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over Falconer. The junior was also 2 for 3 at the plate.

Paisley Mann, Appomattox County (Virginia)

Mann, a freshman, struck out 12 and didn’t allow a hit in a 6-0 victory over Radford.

Rylee Michalak, Notre Dame (New Jersey)

Michalak whirled an 18-strikeout perfect game as Notre Dame took down Immaculata, 3-0, in a South Jersey Parochial A quarterfinal. Michalak, a junior, is committed to Houston.

Alex Welch, Middleboro (Massachusetts)

Welch went 3 for 4 with a double and a pair of home runs in a 7-1 victory over Silver Lake.

Berkley Zache, St. Joseph (Indiana)

Zache hit for the cycle and threw a five-inning no-hitter with 13 strikeouts as St. Joseph defeated La Porte, 14-0, in the sectional championship.
