Gross Catholic boys wrestler Josh Sheard voted SBLive’s Nebraska High School Athlete of the Week
The senior totaled more than 17,000 votes
Gross Catholic boys senior wrestler Josh Sheard was voted SBLive’s Nebraska High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 1-7.
Sheard totaled a whopping 17,653 votes (50.12%). Elkhorn boys basketball player Nixon Farmer was second with 12,564 votes (35.67%).
Sheard won his fourth tournament last week at Beatrice when he took four matches, two by pin, and closed the day with a decision over a foe from Class A.
