Congratulations to Post Falls senior Maya Blake for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week!

Blake scored 15 points, grabbed 10 boards and hit a key 3 down the stretch in a win over Lake City, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Blake received 54.95% of the vote, beating out Rocky Mountain's Marli Reed who finished second with 34.75%. Parma's Grace Jackson finished third with 4.77% and Timberline’s Aly Cox finished fourth with 2.02%.

Amari Whiting, Burley: The sophomore point guard scored 20 points in a win over Mountain Home, and had 19 points and 14 rebounds in a victory over Minico.

Ella Fischer, Filer: The senior wing tallied a season-high 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting with 12 steals and seven rebounds in a win over Buhl.

Allison Ross, Boise: Dropped 23 points in an overtime win over Mountain View that snapped the school’s 28-game win streak, reports The Idaho Press.

Naya Ojukwu, Mountain View: Scored 23 points in an overtime loss to Boise, reports The Idaho Press.

Kate Clark, Melba: Broke Melba’s career scoring record — which her sister Emma Clark set — with 17 points in an overtime loss to New Plymouth, reports The Idaho Press.

Aly Cox, Timberline: Notched a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards in a blowout win over Kuna, reports The Idaho Press.

Grace Jackson, Parma: Finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds, reports The Idaho Press.

Shae Olsen, Greenleaf Friends: Finished with 26 points, nine boards and eight steals in a comfortable win over North Star, reports The Idaho Press.

Kendall Clark, Melba: Pulled down 18 rebounds and added 14 points in a win over Tri-Valley, reports The Idaho Press.

Drew Chapman, Skyline: Scored 20 points in a win over Bonneville, reports The Idaho Falls Post Register.

Jolissa Holt, Lakeside: Scored 24 points in a lopsided win over Genesis Prep, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.

Kaylee Banks, Sandpoint: Banks scored 16 points in the Bulldogs’ 43-34 victory over Lakeland.

Marli Reed, Rocky Mountain: Reed scored 6 threes and game high 20 points for Rocky Mountain in their win over Capital.
