The 2021 Mississippi (MHSAA) high school girls basketball playoff brackets are almost finalized. First-round matchups tip off Monday, Feb. 15.
The 2021 Mississippi (MHSAA) high school girls basketball playoff brackets have been finalized. Because of the winter storm bringing snow and ice this week, first-round matchups will now tip off on Monday, Feb. 22 with the second and third round to follow on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and Friday, Feb. 26, respectively.
MHSAA Executive Director Rickey Neaves said some schools in the southern-most part of the state could potentially continue on the regular schedule — with the girls’ playoffs beginning Wednesday night and boys’ starting Thursday — weather permitting.
