Caleb Kim has 5 TDs as No. 8 Sunset wins again, this time in a rout of Westview

No. 8 Sunset 49, Westview 10: Caleb Kim scored five touchdowns to highlight the offense for the Apollos in their victory over the visiting Wildcats at Sunset High School in Northwest Portland. 

Kim (six carries, 74 yards) rushed for three touchdowns — giving him seven rushing TDs in three games this season — and had two catches — both for touchdowns from Kyle Jaekel — for 51 yards. 

Kaeden Ball also ran for a touchdown and had an 82-yard kickoff return for the Apollos’ final touchdown.

A 28-yard field goal by Rayan Mahin got the Wildcats (1-2) on the board at 21-3 in the second quarter. Brayden Libby connected with Gabe Foster on a 48-yard passing touchdown in the fourth for a 42-10 score. 

Sunset (3-0) held its opponent scoreless for the first nine quarters of the season. 

Libby finished 13 of 24 for 128 yards, Matt Lesowski had 20 carries for 75 yards, and Riley Keppel had two tackles for loss among his nine total stops for Westview.
