Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Arkansas high school athlete of the week for April 5-11 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Jourdan Badely, Rogers girls soccer: Badely scored two goals in Rogers’ 6-0 win over Rogers Heritage on Friday. Two nights earlier, she had two goals in a 5-1 win over Har-Ber.

Clare Barger, Harrison girls soccer: Barger had four goals to power Harrison to a 6-0 win over Green Forest.

Ta’Nya Burnett, West Memphis girls track: Burnett won the long jump (17-07) and triple jump (35-11) with a personal-best mark in both events at the Glen Sain Sr. Eagle Relays.

Allison Fernstrom, Bentonville girls soccer: Fernstrom had two goals as Bentonville defeated Springdale 4-0.

Peyton Goldschmidt, Ozark Catholic baseball: Goldschmidt fired a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts as Ozark Catholic notched an 18-0 victory against Western Yell County.

Desmond Harris, Crossett boys track: Harris PR’d in the 800 (2:09.97) and 1600 (5:10.00) and won both races at the Cardinal Relay Invitational.

Jayden Hart, Paris softball: Hart struck out 11 as part of a two-hitter, pitching Paris to a 13-0 victory over Cedarville. She also belted a three-run homer.

Myles Harvey, Farmington baseball: Harvey pitched a three-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in Farmington’s 10-0 win over Gentry.

Emma Kate Jackson, Rogers softball: Jackson, the leadoff hitter, hit two doubles and a triple in Rogers’ 6-2 win over Har-Ber.

Kyle Langford, Springdale baseball: Langford came through with the winning RBI single in the seventh inning to lift Springdale to an 8-7 win over Fort Smith Northside.

Edwin Lara, Springdale boys soccer: Lara scored both goals for Springdale — one in each half — in a 2-1 win over Bentonville.

Bridgett McSpadden, Bentonville West girls soccer: McSpadden had two goals to help fuel Bentonville West’s 4-0 win over Fort Smith Southside.

Taylor Moseley, Rogers Heritage softball: Moseley fired a shutout to lead Rogers Heritage to a 6-0 victory against Fayetteville.

Olivia Nickson, Bentonville West softball: Nickson, a sophomore, pitched Bentonville West to a 9-3 win over Fort Smith Southside, finishing with a three-hitter. She struck out four.

Gunner Pace, Shiloh Christian baseball: Pace delivered the game-winning hit, an RBI double in the seventh inning that lifted Shiloh Christian to a 4-3 comeback win over Jones, Okla.

Kieper Pate, Bentonville baseball: Pate had three hits and three RBIs in Bentonville’s 13-2 victory over Columbia (Mo.) Hickman.

David Platt, Tuckerman baseball: Platt batted .600 for the week. On the mound, he had a win versus Sloan Hendrix on Tuesday and a save against Melbourne on Friday. He had 11 strikeouts and zero earned runs allowed.

Laylah Reese, Cabot girls track: Reese PR’d in the 100 hurdles (16.38) and the 300 hurdles (49.03), winning both events at the Wal Mart Cabot Invitational.

Carshaila Rozier, El Dorado girls track: At the Cardinal Relay Invitational, Rozier won the 100 (12.61) and 200 (26.62), tied for second in the high jump (5-00) and finished third in the long jump (16-09).

Jayden Shannon, Tuckerman baseball: Shannon batted .700 in four games with a home run, nine runs, seven stolen bases and five RBIs. He pitched 6 2/3 innings of no-hit ball with nine strikeouts and earned a win over conference foe Melbourne.

Josh Warren, Cabot boys track: Warren put up personal-best marks in the 110 hurdles (15.37) and long jump (22-00.50) and also won in the pole vault (12-06) at the Wal Mart Cabot Invitational.

Carson Wasemiller, Fayetteville girls soccer: Wasemiller had two goals in Fayetteville’s 5-1 win over Rogers Heritage.

Erik Wilson, Jonesboro boys track: Wilson won in five events (100, 200, 4x100, long jump, triple jump) at the Paul Hoffman-Hurricane Relays.
