SAN MARCOS -- Eastlake senior right-hander Ray Cebulski tossed a complete game, allowing two hits and one run to propel eighth-seeded Eastlake to a 2-1 victory over top-seeded San Marcos in the first round of the San Diego Section Open Division playoffs. Cebulski retired ten straight batters after allowing a first inning home run to Alex Fernandes and allowed only five base runners over his seven innings. Eastlake tied the game at one in the second innings thanks to a bloop single to right by Sebastian Sanchez and added the eventual game-winning run when a San Marcos pickoff attempt went down the left field line, allowing Ethan Lizama to score from second base.
