SBLive’s Georgia Top 25: Collins Hill stays No. 1 after a dominant Week 1 from stars Sam Horn and Travis Hunter

SBLive's updated Top 25 in Georgia high school football after Week 1's games.

The fall 2021 Georgia high school football season kicked off last week with several big games, including No. 1 Collins Hill putting on an offensive display against Brookwood.

After the first week of action, here are SBLive’s Top 25 Georgia high school football rankings. The statewide rankings span all classifications.


1. Collins Hill (1-0)

Last week: 1

Collins Hill remains at No. 1 after a powerhouse performance from the top recruit in the nation, Travis Hunter, and a 36-10 win against Brookwood in the final game of the 30th annual Corky Kell Classic in Atlanta. 

2. Norcross (1-0)

Last week: 3 

Norcross put up 42 points as its offense overpowered Hillgrove, giving coach Keith Maloof his 200th career win

3. Colquitt County (1-0)

Last week: 7

Colquitt County escaped with a 28-25 win over Marietta in Week 1 thanks to a field goal from Brett Fitzgerald. 

4. Milton (1-0)

Last week: 8

Milton made a big statement in its season-opening 45-0 rout of Hapeville Charter.
