Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Alabama High School Athlete of the Week for Aug. 23-29 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. THIS WEEK’S ALABAMA ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES:

John Blackwood, Hartselle QB: Blackwood threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns to lead Hartselle to a 41-0 win over Mae Jemison.

Tyler Bradley, Daphne RB: Bradley rushed nine times for 114 yards and a touchdown in Daphne’s 54-14 win over Davidson.

Rynzo Crutcher, Grissom QB: Crutcher was 11-of-13 for 205 yards and three TDs to lead Grissom to a 33-22 win over Lee-Huntsville.

Isaiah Dixon, Alma Bryant RB: Dixon rushed 17 times for 112 yards in Alma Bryant’s 28-12 win over Mary G. Montgomery.

Jayson Campbell, Mary G. Montgomery RB: Campbell rushed 24 times for 150 yards and a touchdown in MGM’s 28-12 loss to Alma Bryant.

Jeremiah Cobb, Montgomery Catholic RB: Cobb carried the ball 24 times for 189 yards and 5 TDs to lead the Knights to a 50-0 win over Charles Henderson.

Tyler Cooper, Austin RB: Cooper carried the ball 24 times for 116 yards and a touchdown in Austin’s 17-13 win over Decatur.

Taven Curry, Robertsdale RB: Curry carried the ball 28 times for 180 yards and three touchdowns in Robertsdale’s 31-7 win over Elberta.

Sawyer Deerman, American Christian QB: Deerman rushed for 132 yards and threw two TD passes to lead American Christian to a 34-20 win over Greensboro.

TJ Dudley, Montgomery Catholic LB: Dudley had a huge defensive game in the Knights’ 50-0 shutout of Charles Henderson: 10 tackles (3 TFL) and two interceptions, including a pick-6.

Mank Findley, Flomaton RB: Findley exploded for 295 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and added a 66-yard kickoff return for a TD in Flomaton’s 38-14 win over Northview (Florida).

Joshua Flowers, Baker QB: Flowers, a sophomore, ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 116 yards and a TD in Baker’s 36-31 loss to Theodore.

Emmanuel Henderson, Geneva County RB: Henderson rushed 20 times for 140 yards in Geneva County’s 33-14 win over Wicksburg.

Iverson Hooks, Pike Road QB: Hooks threw just six passes, completing five for 173 yards and three TDs as Pike Road hammered Calhoun 56-0.

Kason Jones, Jackson-Olin RB: Jones ran for 150 yards and three touchdowns to lead Jackson-Olin to a 38-13 win over Calera.

Antonio Kite, Anniston WR: Kite hauled in seven catches for 204 yards and two TDs in Anniston’s 32-27 win over Ohatchee.

Cameron Long, Daphne DB: Long returned a kickoff 70 yards for a TD and returned a punt 49 yards for a TD in Daphne’s 54-14 win over Davidson.

Gio Lopez, James Clemens QB: Lopez went 10-of-13 for 249 yards and four touchdowns and added a 15-yard TD run to lead James Clemens to a 47-7 win over Athens.

Bennett Meredith, Hoover QB: Meredith threw for 162 yards and four touchdowns to lead Hoover to a 35-7 win over Alpharetta (Georgia).

Collin Moon, Oneonta RB: Moon rushed 14 times for 109 yards and a touchdown to lift Oneonta to a 41-14 win over Hayden.

Chris Pearson, Orange Beach RB: Pearson carried the rock 14 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns in Orange Beach’s 26-0 win over Fruitdale.

Tametrius Pogue, Theodore QB: Pogue rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 118 yards to lead Theodore to a 36-31 win over Baker.

William Stokes, Madison Academy RB: Stokes carried the ball 16 times for 172 yards and three touchdowns in Madison Academy’s 42-7 win over Scottsboro.

Ahamari Williams, Hoover RB: Williams returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown and added 45 yards rushing to help lift Hoover to a 35-7 win over Alpharetta (Georgia).
