Congratulations to Arkadelphia linebacker Alex Turley for being voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 18-24!
The senior had a 75-yard fumble return for a score in the Badgers’ 33-27 win over Ashdown.
Turley received 24.37% of the vote, beating out Greenbrier's Carter McElhany who finished second with 20.7%. El Dorado's SharmonRester finished third with 15.77% and Ashdown's Kaiden Winfrey finished fourth with 10.94%. There were over 30,000 votes tallied this week!

Noah Becker, Pulaski Academy boys tennis
Becker won the state overall title with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Joe Patton of Jonesboro.

Verdin won the Large School Division of the Quitman Invitational in 15:53.60.
