Mater Dei, the top-ranked high school football team in the country in the SBLive Power 25, will play Serra (San Mateo) in the Open Division CIF State Championship Bowl Game on Dec. 11.
The matchup to determine the top high school football team in California has been set.
Mater Dei, the top-ranked high school football team in the country in the SBLive Power 25, will play Serra (San Mateo) in the Open Division CIF State Championship Bowl Game on Dec. 11.
The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif.
Mater Dei (11-0) won the CIF Southern Section Division I championship on Friday with a 27-7 win over Servite.
Serra (11-1) won the CIF Central Coast Section Division I title on Friday with a 16-12 victory over St. Francis.
