Here are some stars from the state championship football games that took place Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Canton.

TyRek Spikes, Winton Woods RB

Spikes led his team with 153 yards and a touchdown, including a 45-yard carry, to help Winton Woods complete its magical run through the playoffs. 

Lorenzo Hudson, Winton Woods DB

Hudson had 10 tackles (7 solo, 3 assisted) and an interception return for 32 yards for a dominant Winton Woods defense.

Carson Vanhoose, Clinton-Massie RB

Vanhoose was the first to rush into the end zone and the last, as he completed the game-winning two-point conversion with 45 seconds remaining. The senior rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.

Colton Trampler, Clinton-Massie RB/LB

Trampler led his team in rushing yards with 117 yards on 19 carries and made seven tackles. 

Sean Carr, Chardon RB

With just over a minute left, Carr rushed 2-yards into the end zone to give the Hilltoppers a 21-14 advantage over Badin and secure Chardon’s second straight Division III championship.

Brody Dotson, Chardon LB

The senior tied for the game-high with 11 tackles including 2.5 for a loss and half a sack.

Danny Enovitch, St. Edward RB

Enovitch was explosive on the ground, with 210 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries. 

Wyatt Gedeon, St. Edward LB

The junior led a tough defense with eight tackles, including 3.5 for loss of 22 yards and 2.5 sacks.

Peyton Otte, Marion Local QB

Through the air, the signal-caller was 13-for-18 for 252 yards and three touchdowns (19-, 51- and 39-yard passes). On the ground, he rushed 13 times for 65 yards and two scores. 

Brady Ronnebaum, Marion Local WR

Ronnebaum led his team in all-purpose yards with 124 yards on six receptions. He also had two touchdowns on 19- and 51-yard catches. 

Jordan Vallejo, Carey RB

Vallejo emerged as the Blue Devils' leader on offense, finishing with 95 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries. 

Derek Lonsway, Carey QB

Lonsway wasn’t asked to throw much, as he completed 3-of-5 passes for 79 yards, but his 81 rushing yards on 25 carries and a 3-yard touchdown run proved to complement a grinding rushing game. 

Carson Bey, Versailles QB

Bey scored Versailles' first touchdown on a 15-yard rush and went 8-for-12 with a touchdown. On the ground, he rushed for 86 yards on 27 carries.

Jack Osborne, Versailles RB

The senior finished with 69 all-purpose yards, including 45 rushing yards and a 24-yard kickoff return. Osborne also scored Versailles' final touchdown of the game on a first-and-goal at the 1-yard line.
