Nearly a month ago, 640 Texas high school football teams from Class 2A-6A representing every pocket of the state kicked off their postseason pushes.

Countless dominant performances, stunning upsets and nail-biting victories defined the first four rounds of the playoffs with the field now whittled down to the state’s final 40 teams left standing in contention for 10 separate UIL 11-Man Football state championships.

Here are our predictions for every UIL state semifinal game around the state during Round 5 of the 2021 Texas high school football playoffs:

Class 1A/Six-Man teams have secured spots in the UIL’s Football State Championship games on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington:

  • Class 1A Division I State Championship — Westbrook Wildcats (10-4) vs. May Tigers (14-0), 11 a.m. at Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington
  • Class 1A Division II State Championship — Motley County Matadors (14-0) vs. Strawn Greyhounds (14-0), 2 p.m. at Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington

TAPPS Football State Championship games took place last weekend (Dec. 2-4) at Waco ISD Sports Complex and Baylor’s McLane Stadium in Waco; SPC Championship game took place Nov. 6 at Dallas Jesuit’s Postell Stadium:
