The 25th annual Les Schwab Invitational boys basketball tournament concluded Thursday at Liberty High School in Hillsboro.

Here’s a game-by-game recap of what went down, plus Day 5 statistical leaders …

FINAL

The Lions scored the first 11 points, led 42-25 at the break and placed all five starters in double figures as they roared past the Timberwolves in the championship game.

Tarris Reed Jr. (20 points), Julian Philips (14) and Jordan Walsh (13) had seven rebounds apiece, Omaha Biliew added 11 points, and Trey Green had 10 to send Link Academy (21-0) to the title.

Noah Ogoli poured in 24 points and Jaden Steppe (team-high seven rebounds) put up 12 off the bench to lead Tualatin (9-1). Malik Ross and Kellen Hale chipped in eight points each in defeat.

THIRD PLACE

Beaverton 59, Barlow 43

Max Elmgren scored a game-high 18 points, Trevon Hamilton added 17, and the Beavers cruised past the Bruins in the third-place game.

Reserve Aiden Rice pitched in seven points and Philip Rosenfeld led all players with eight rebounds as Beaverton (7-3) owned the glass, finishing with a 31-16 advantage.

Connor Hills (16 points) was the only player to reach double digits for Barlow (5-4). Jalen Atkins made two three-pointers and tallied nine points for the Bruins, who trailed 33-20 at the half.

FIFTH PLACE

Cleveland 62, Jesuit 57

The Warriors led by 20 late in the third quarter before staving off the Crusaders' comeback bid and hanging on to win the fifth-place game.

Jackson Cooper had a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds), Christian Green posted a game-high 20 points, and Lawson Vella added 10 for Cleveland (7-2).

Tyree Blake scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, and reserves Jake Gorman (10) and Owen Davies (nine) helped keep Jesuit (6-5) close.

CONSOLATION FINAL

Central Catholic 76, David Douglas 30

The Rams bolted to a 29-2 lead, drilled 10 three-pointers and forced 24 turnovers in a blowout of the Scots in the consolation bracket final.

Isaac Carr scored a game-high 14 points, Jordan King and Riley Williams had 11 apiece, and Anthony Angelo and Marley Zeller each added 10 for balanced Central Catholic (5-4).

Jay'Vanni Sarchi notched 12 points, Josiah Collins scored 10 with six rebounds, and David Alderton also grabbed six boards to pace David Douglas (4-2).

OTHER GAMES

Gresham 62, Evergreen 40

RJ Alexander had a game-high 17 points, Scotty Riddle added 15, and the Gophers overcame a halftime deficit to cruise past the Plainsmen.

Esyah Pippa-White and Terence Anderson (team-high eight rebounds) chipped in 10 points apiece for Gresham (4-4).

Arthur Ban put up a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards to go with seven steals and three blocked shots to pace Evergreen (3-6). Robert Lawrence pitched in eight points and DJ Edmondson notched six for the Plainsmen, who led 22-21 at the half.

Churchill 69, Sherwood 62

The Lancers sank 10 three-pointers and led by 20 before holding on to down the late-charging Bowmen.

Samaje Morgan (six assists, four steals) led all scorers with 29 points, Ty Weiskind came off the bench to score 11 with six rebounds, and Cooper Case dropped in 10 to lead Churchill (7-3).

Sherwood (4-6), which trailed 36-22 at the break, received a team-high 21 points from Owen Caudle. Caden Jenkins tallied 18 and Matthew Verkamp added 16 with seven rebounds and four steals for the Bowmen.

Tigard 55, Canby 44

The Tigers fell behind early but stormed back to beat the Cougars behind a game-high 21 points from junior guard Kalim Brown.

Malik Brown (seven assists) and Sawyer Wolf (eight rebounds) added 11 points apiece for Tigard (8-2).

Canby (7-4) got 20 points and eight rebounds from Payton Meyers, Jacob Strand pulled down eight boards, and Kellan Oakes contributed nine points and six rebounds in the loss.

The Cougars led 17-12 after one quarter but were outscored in each of the final three periods.

Roosevelt 82, Lake Oswego 77

Donatello Tupper's layup with 4:28 remaining broke a 65-65 tie and gave the Roughriders the lead for good in a hard-fought win over the Lakers.

Terrence Hill had 33 points and nine rebounds to lead the attack for Roosevelt (7-2). Tupper (17), Chance White (14) and Utrillo Morris (10) also hit double figures for the Roughriders.

Winters Grady put together a double-double with 28 points and 11 boards, and Sorena Torabi added 17 and nine to pace Lake Oswego (2-8). Luke Brauner contributed 14 points and Carson Reno pitched in 11 for the Lakers, who led 39-34 at intermission.
