Ant Arrington, Galloway boys basketball 

Arrington had a monster game in Galloway’s blowout win over Towers. Arrington captured his first triple-double with 40 points, 10 boards and 10 assists.

Riley Black, Chestatee girls basketball 

Black hit the history books in Chestatee’s win over North Oconee. She scored 34 points (third in school history) and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Christian Carroll, Osborne boys basketball 

Carroll contributed in every aspect in Osborne’s win over Providence Christian Academy. Carroll ended with 18 points, 10 boards, four assists, four blocks and three steals.

Duke Clayton, North Gwinnett boys basketball 

Clayton scored a season-high 34 points to help the Bulldogs take down Eagle’s Landing.

Abdulh Diaby, Centennial boys basketball 

Diaby’s double-double of 14 points and 11 boards helped improve Centennial’s record to 13-1.

Kara Dunn, Mount Paran girls basketball 

Dunn played an all-around great game with 24 points, seven boards and five assists. Dunn’s performance helped Mount Paran get its first region win.

Mataya Gayle, River Ridge girls basketball 

Gayle scored a game-high 24 points in River Ridge’s 71-27 blowout win over Cambridge.

Drew Gorman, Buford wrestling

Gorman, just a freshman, finished a close second at 123 pounds at the prestigious Doc B Wrestling Invitational in Clovis, California.

Jordy Grigg, Osborne girls basketball 

Grigg was a monster in the She Got Game Classic. Grigg scored 33 points and brought down 23 rebounds, career highs in both.

Jonah Hamilton, Etowah boys basketball 

Hamilton was on fire from behind the arc, scoring 25 points including seven made 3s.

Damoni Harrison, Archer boys basketball 

Harrison had a game-high 19 points and contributed seven rebounds and four assists in Archer’s win over Brookwood.

Claire Kerber, Cambridge swimming

Kerber won three races to lead her team to the Campbell-Marietta Invite title and also led her team to first in the Fulton County championships.

DK Manyiel, Greenforest boys basketball 

Manyiel was dominant in Greenforest’s win over Southwest Atlanta Christian. Manyiel controlled the paint with a 12-heavy triple-double — 12 points, 12 blocks and 12 rebounds.

Jakai Newton, Newton boys basketball 

Newton dropped 25 points in the championship game to help his team win the Sugar Bowl National Prep Classic. Newton also took home the tourney MVP.

Mier Panoam, Norcross boys basketball

The guard played big for Norcross in a win versus Tampa Catholic, racking up 18 points, four assists and 10 rebounds. 

Josh Reed, Pace Academy boys basketball

Reed was instrumental in Pace’s big win over South Gwinnett, with 20 points, 10 boards, two steals and a block.

Brandon Rechsteiner, Etowah boys basketball 

Rechsteiner did a little bit of everything to help take down Cumberland Christian. He had 21 points, eight assists, six boards and knocked down five 3s.

Brodie Scott, North Oconee boys basketball 

Scott set a new single-game record for rebounds with 22 in North Oconee’s matchup with Flowery Branch.

Matthew Singleton, Woodward Academy wrestling

Singleton won the title at 173 pounds at the prestigious Doc B Wrestling Invitational in Clovis, California, beating a wrestler from Oregon for the championship.
