SI99 PROSPECT RANKINGS

Check out the Southern California players who made the cut:

No. 15 CB Domani Jackson, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei -- USC

Domani Jackson

After snagging a pick-six in the Monarchs’ season opening 45-3 win over Duncanville (Texas), Jackson injured his knee at a Mater Dei practice and missed the remainder of the Monarchs’ 12-0 state championship season this fall. Jackson chose USC over Alabama and signed during the early signing period. He was a long time USC commit, but backed off that pledge in November before signing last month after the Trojans hired former Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley. Jackson finished his four year varsity career with five interceptions and 75 tackles.

No. 31 RB Raleek Brown, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei -- USC

Raleek Brown, Mater Dei football

Brown was the most electrifying back in California high school football this season. Going up against one of the toughest schedules in America, Brown finished the season with 1,062 yards and 12 touchdowns. The USC signee was a workhorse for the Monarchs in the playoffs and one of the main contributors to Mater Dei’s Open Division state championship title.

No. 55 LB David Bailey, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei -- Stanford

David Bailey

Bailey has always had incredible ability, but prior to this season injuries kept him off the field from time to time. Not even a broken wrist could stop Bailey this year as he played through the injury to lead Mater Dei to Section and State titles. Bailey, a Stanford signee, had 14.5 sacks this season with his most important one coming in Mater Dei’s 21-16 Division 1 Southern Section semifinal win over Corona Centennial. Bailey strip-sacked Husky QB Izzy Carter which led to the Monarchs game-winning touchdown.

No. 56 WR Tetairoa McMillan, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite -- Arizona

McMillan, an Arizona signee, was named the SBLive California Player of the Year in December. He caught 88 passes for 1,302 yards and 18 touchdowns this fall. But what separated him from the rest of the Player of the Year candidates was his play on defense. Lining up as a defensive back for the first time in his career, McMillan snagged eight interceptions and made 35 tackles.

No. 61 QB Maalik Murphy, Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra -- Texas

He also rushed for six touchdowns. Murphy had been committed to Texas since February and stuck with that pledge even as former Ohio State quarterback Quinn Ewers, the consensus top recruit in the 2021 recruiting class, announced that he had transferred to Texas a few days before the early signing period.

No. 67 WR CJ Williams, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei -- USC
