SOCAL TOP STARS(Jan. 24-30)

Gabriela Jaquez, Camarillo girls basketball: Jaquez had 45 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and five steals against Oak Park on Friday.

Ari Long, Valley View girls basketball: Long had three triple doubles last week, averaging 32 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists per game.

Chloe Williams, BishopMontgomery girls basketball: Williams had 32 points and 12 rebounds against Serra on Sunday.

Jade Forte, Price girls basketball: Forte had 30 points and eight steals in last week's win over Firebaugh.

Lala Everett, Lincoln girls basketball: Everett had 65 points and seven steals in Thursday's win over Coronado.

Renee Chong, Bishop's girls basketball: Chong had 21 points, ten steals, and nine rebounds in Friday's win over St. Joseph Academy.

Emmy Stout, Maranatha Christian girls basketball: Stout averaged 16 points and 13 rebounds across three games last week for the Eagles.

Evan Record, San Marcos boys basketball: Record made a school record 12 three-pointers, finishing with 38 points, in the Knights' win over Westview on Wednesday.

Christian Brown, La Costa Canyon boys basketball: Brown had a game-winning putback at the buzzer against Carlsbad on Tuesday and poured in 34 points on Saturday night to help La Costa Canyon take down San Ysidro, 82-79.

Demond Johnson, Olympianboys basketball: Johnson had 33 points on Saturday to help the Eagles take down Westview in overtime.

Noah Ahooja, Orange Glen boys basketball: Ahooja had 29 points including five three-pointers in Monday's win over San Pasqual.

Joel Schwatner, Maranatha Christian boys basketball: Schwatner averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds in two games last week, leading the Eagles to two wins.

Nehemia Hardin, Hoover boys basketball: Hardin had 12 points, 15 rebounds, and three steals to help the Cardinals take down San Diego in overtime last week.

Ayden Lockett, University City boys basketball: Lockett had 20 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in last week's win over Point Loma.

Martin Flores, San Ysidro boys basketball: Flores had 31 points against Otay Ranch and followed it up with 34 points against La Costa Canyon on Saturday.

David Marcos, Verdugo Hills boys basketball: Marcos averaged 20 points, eight rebounds, and five assists last week over two games for the Dons.

Jason Hilliard, Chino boys basketball: Hilliard had 31 points, 18 rebounds, and five blocks last week against Ontario.

Kamaury Washington, Millikan boys basketball: Washington had 37 points and nine rebounds in last week's win over Cabrillo.

James Evans, West Ranch boys basketball: Evans had 32 points and ten rebounds in last week's 68-66 win over Hart.

Donovan Dent, Corona Centennial boys basketball: Dent had 31 points to help the Huskies to an 80-71 overtime win over Coronado (Nevada) at Saturday's Mater Extravaganza.

Derek Eide, Silver Valley boys basketball: Eide averaged 38 points and ten rebounds last week, helping the Trojans to two victories.

Emilio Arguelles, Rubidoux boys basketball: Arguelles averaged 27 points and eight rebounds over two games last week for the Falcons.
