Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Oregon High School Team of the Week for Jan. 24-30 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Baker boys basketball

The Bulldogs (13-3) remained perfect in the Greater Oregon League with a convincing 67-41 win at La Grande on Friday.

Central Catholic boys basketball

The Rams (12-4) picked up four wins in five days, highlighted by a 50-46 win at Barlow on Wednesday, to finish the week in sole possession of first place in the Mt. Hood Conference.

Churchill boys basketball

The Lancers (12-4) picked up a 68-51 win Friday at Eagle Point to emerge in sole possession of first place in the Midwestern League. Earlier in the week, Churchill doubled up North Eugene 56-28.

Cleveland boys basketball

Cleveland (12-3) scored a 54-44 win at McDaniel on Thursday and followed with a 68-57 win at fellow PIL contender Lincoln on Saturday.

Crane girls basketball

Crane (18-1) notched a 45-41 win over Valley 10 contender Country Christian on Saturday. Earlier in the week, Crane picked up wins over Prairie City and Huntington to improve to 9-0 in the High Desert League.

Gladstone girls basketball

Freshman Hailey Monte hit a 3-pointer from the top of the arc to lift the Gladiators (13-1) past previously unbeaten Corbett 46-45 on Tuesday. Hanne Hopkins led Gladstone with 23 points.

Jesuit girls basketball

The Crusaders (16-1) knocked off 5A contender Wilsonville 55-29 on Tuesday, then edged South Medford 47-46 on Thursday. Emma Sixta beat the buzzer with a runner in the lane for the winning basket. She finished with a game-high 23 points.

Junction City boys basketball

Junction City (16-2) moved alone into first place in the Sky Em League with a 43-42 win at Marshfield on Friday. Marshfield’s only fourth-quarter scoring came on two free throws. Colby Evans hit a shot in the paint for the winning points. Kaleb Burnett led the Tigers with 19 points.

Lakeridge girls basketball

The Pacers (12-3) stayed perfect in the Three Rivers League with a 63-56 win over fellow contender Oregon City on Tuesday.

Newberg boys wrestling

The Tigers won the Reser’s Tournament of Champions team title, with 12 of their 13 scoring wrestlers making the podium and two others also taking home medals. They put eight wrestlers in the finals and saw three win championships — sophomore Isaac Hampton at 113 and seniors Ayden Garver (145) and Charlie Evans (152).

Powder Valley boys basketball

The Badgers (16-1) stayed perfect in the Old Oregon League with a 76-64 win against Nixyaawii on Saturday — their third win in three days. Powder Valley gave up only three points in a win at Griswold on Thursday.

Riverdale girls basketball

The Mavericks (13-6) improved to 7-0 in the Lewis & Clark League with a 61-35 home win over fellow contender De La Salle North on Saturday. Riverdale knocked off Catlin Gabel and Portland Adventist earlier in the week.

Sherwood girls basketball

The Bowmen (7-9) improved to 5-0 in the Pacific Conference with a 43-34 win at fellow contender Forest Grove on Tuesday.

Silverton boys basketball

The Foxes (12-5) took sole possession of first place in the Mid-Willamette Conference with a 58-52 home win over Crescent Valley on Monday, followed by a 64-39 win at Lebanon on Thursday.

Tualatin boys basketball

The Timberwolves (10-1) returned to action for the first time in a month and knocked off Three Rivers contender West Linn 69-58 on Friday. Noah Ogoli led Tualatin with 16 points.
