Here are the candidates for the WaFd BankOregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 24-30 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Douglas Bailey, Tigard

The junior wing scored a game-high 23 points, on an 8-for-9 shooting night from the field, helping the Tigers roll to a 71-36 win over Oregon City in a Three Rivers League game played at Tigard High School. Bailey also scored a game-high 16 points in a 65-33 win over Lakeridge.

Benjamin Bourne, Santiam Christian

The junior forward helped the Eagles get off to a fast start, scoring 13 of his team-high 19 points in the first quarter, leading them to a 57-48 win over Pleasant Hill in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at Santiam Christian.

Sol Byles, Newberg

The senior guard scored a game-high 28 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, to help lead the Tigers to a 57-48 win over Glencoe in a Pacific Conference game played at Newberg High School.

Dylan Douangphrachanh, Benson

The sophomore sank seven 3-point baskets on his way to scoring a game-high 26 points for the Techmen in their 73-63 win over Jefferson in Portland Interscholastic League play.

Matthew Forsyth, Churchill

The senior guard had a big game, with 18 points and nine rebounds, as he helped the Lancers post a 56-28 win over North Eugene in a Midwestern League game played at North Eugene High School.

Winters Grady, Lake Oswego

The freshman wing scored a game-high 30 points as he helped the Lakers rally back from a 19-point halftime deficit to get a 68-60 win over Tigard in a Three Rivers League game played at Lake Oswego High School.

Christian Green, Cleveland

The junior wing, coming off the bench, had a double-double, with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while also having five assists, one steal and no turnovers, as he helped the Warriors record a 70-42 win over Jefferson in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at Jefferson High School.

Caden Harris, Summit

The senior had a double-double, with a game-high 24 points to go with 10 rebounds, as he helped the Storm move to 14-0 on the season with a 63-51 win over West Salem in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at Summit High School.

Kaden Harris, Milwaukie

The junior guard had a couple of big games for the Mustangs in Northwest Oregon Conference play. Harris scored 22 points, making six 3-pointers in the process, while also having seven rebounds and four assists against La Salle Prep. He had a triple-double, with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, against Hillsboro.

Andre Huynh, Century

The senior forward turned in a solid all-around performance with 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Jaguars in their 64-51 win over Liberty in a Pacific Conference game played at Liberty High School.

Gavin Inglish, Pleasant Hill

The freshman guard scored a game-high 19 points, helping the Billies post a 68-66 win over La Pine in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at La Pine High School.

Tyler King, Clackamas

The junior forward/center scored a game-high 15 points, on a 5-for-7 shooting night from the field, while also having five rebounds and four steals for the Cavaliers in their 66-39 win over Reynolds in a Mt. Hood Conference game played at Clackamas High School.

Logan Law, Milwaukie

The junior guard poured in 40 points, including 31 in the first half, as he helped the Mustangs earn a 61-57 win over Putnam in a Northwest Oregon Conference game played at Putnam High School. Law also sank seven 3-point baskets in the victory.

Jordan McCarty, Silverton

The senior guard turned in a strong performance, scoring a game-high 19 points to go with eight assists, as he helped the Foxes post a 58-52 win over Crescent Valley in a Mid-Willamette Conference showdown played at Silverton High School. McCarty also had 15 points and eight assists in a victory over Lebanon.

Britt Murray, Harrisburg

The senior center had a double-double, with 21 points and 14 rebounds, while also having two blocked shots and two steals for the Eagles in their 71-55 nonleague win over Amity.

Treyson Neff, North Medford

The senior guard had a big game, with 23 points, nine rebounds and five steals, as he helped the Black Tornado post a 64-49 win over Sheldon in a Southwest Conference game played at Sheldon High School.

Noah Ogoli, Tualatin

The senior guard helped the top-ranked Timberwolves earn a 69-58 win over West Linn in a Three Rivers League showdown played at Tualatin High School. Ogoli scored a team-high 16 points, while also having four assists, four steals and two rebounds.

Esyah Pippa-White, Gresham

The junior had some huge nights for the Gophers in the past week. He had 23 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals in their 75-44 win over Centennial. He had 24 points, seven assists, three rebounds and three steals in a 79-59 win over Sandy, and he had a triple-double, with 23 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists, in an 82-47 win over Nelson.

Cody Reece, Cascade Christian

The senior guard scored a game-high and season-high 26 points while adding five assists, helping the Challengers post a 64-52 win over South Umpqua in a Far West League game played at Cascade Christian.

Nick Robertson, La Salle Prep

The junior had a huge game, pouring in 32 points while also pulling down 14 rebounds, in the Falcons’ 69-58 win over Hillsboro in a Northwest Oregon Conference game played at La Salle Prep. Robertson sank five 3-pointers in the victory, while also having three assists.

David Rowe, Mohawk

The senior post scored 14 points, to go with seven rebounds, as he helped the Mustangs earn a 44-29 road win over Triangle Lake in a Mountain West League contest.

Jackson Shelstad, West Linn

The junior guard had a big game for the Lions in their 69-58 loss to Tualatin in a Three Rivers League showdown played at Tualatin High School. Shelstad scored a game-high 28 points, while also having six rebounds and four assists.

Chaz Storm, Western Christian

The senior wing scored a game-high 26 points, helping the Pioneers run to a 71-44 win over East Linn Christian Academy in a nonleague contest played at Western Christian.

Gray Thompson, Central Catholic

The junior sank seven 3-point baskets on his way to scoring a game-high 29 points for the Rams in their 85-52 win over Sandy in Mt. Hood Conference action.

Quincy Townsend, Mountain View

The sophomore point guard poured in 33 points, sinking five 3-pointers and going 8 for 8 from the free throw line, helping the Cougars post a 54-49 victory over Ridgeview in a nonleague game played at Ridgeview High School.

Ty Weiskind, Churchill

The senior guard scored a game-high 20 points, on an 8-for-10 shooting night from the field, helping the Lancers earn a 56-28 win over North Eugene in a Midwestern League game played at North Eugene High School.

Chance White, Roosevelt

The sophomore guard scored 25 points, sinking eight 3-point baskets, helping the Roughriders get a 78-77 win at Lincoln in Portland Interscholastic League play.
