Peyton Wiggins, Huffman Boys Basketball: The freshman dropped 22 points in a 62-59 win over Lee-Montgomery.
Reniya Kelly, Hoover Girls Basketball: The North Carolina commit scored 21 points in a 61-41 win over Meridian (MS).
Kyle Layton, Mountain Brook Boys Basketball: Led Mountain Brook with 31 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in a 77-65 victory against Northridge.
Emma Smith, Vestavia Hills Girls Basketball: Smith scored 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals in a 70-41 win over Pelham.
Sydney Schwallie, Chelsea Girls Basketball: Joined the 1,000th career point club with 12 points in a 44-31 win over Briarwood.
Wilder Evers, Oak Mountain Boys Basketball: Evers had 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 67-49 win against Thompson.
Bellah Machen, Mortimer Jordan Girls Basketball: The senior had 22 points in a 66-40 win over Clay-Chalkville.
Derek Moore, Springville Boys Basketball: Moore led Springville with 20 points in a 60-39 win over Moody. With the win, the Tigers secured the county championship.
Olivia Johnigan, Helena Girls Basketball: Johnigan had 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in a 49-33 win against Chilton County.
