Here are the candidates for the WaFd BankOregon High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 31-Feb. 6 as nominated by coaches, fans and readers.

Cole Bernius, Grant

The senior wing had a strong game for the Generals, scoring 14 points, including four 3-pointers, while also having six rebounds and four steals in their 43-42 win over Lincoln in Portland Interscholastic League play.

Kalim Brown, Tigard

The junior guard scored a game-high 22 points in helping the Tigers earn a 54-41 win over Oregon City in a Three Rivers League game played at Oregon City High School.

Braedyn Cantrell, Pleasant Hill

The senior guard scored a game-high 23 points to help lead the Billies to a 60-56 double-overtime win over Creswell in a Mountain Valley Conference game played at Pleasant Hill. Cantrell went 6 for 6 from the free throw line in the second overtime period to help the Billies wrap up the victory.

Gabe Cirino, Central

The senior scored a career-high 23 points, sinking five 3-pointers in the process, as he helped the Panthers post a 60-32 win over Dallas in a Mid-Willamette Conference game played at Central High School.

Josiah Collins, David Douglas

The senior point guard scored a game-high 23 points, helping lead the Scots to a 77-56 victory over Gresham in a Mt. Hood Conference contest played at Gresham High School.

Christian Green, Cleveland

The junior wing had a double-double, with 18 points and 11 rebounds, scoring three times off of offensive rebounds, as he helped the Warriors notch a 66-54 win over Roosevelt in a key Portland Interscholastic League game played at Roosevelt High School.

Parker Harrison, Nelson

The junior guard had a double-double, with a game-high 23 points to go with 11 rebounds, helping the Hawks earn a 68-52 win over Reynolds in a Mt. Hood Conference game played at Nelson High School.
