Here are some stars from the past week's boys and girls basketball games across Georgia.

Maalik Leitch, South Gwinnett boys basketball 

Leitch finished his regular season with 25 points, nine assists and five boards. Performances like this one got Leitch onto the Region 4-7A first-team all region squad.

Kiersten James, Etowah girls basketball 

James was hot from behind the arc. She made five 3s and ended the game with 18 points. 

Shawn Walker, Walnut Grove boys basketball 

Walker had a monster performance vs. Clarke Central. He put up 19 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks.

Alison Hiddema, East Forsyth girls basketball

Hiddema’s 24 points and 16 rebounds helped East Forsyth reach the region championship game.

Da’Avion Thomas, McDonough boys basketball 

Thomas scored 31 points in the region championship game vs. Fayette County, adding five rebounds and four assists.

Chris Dorbor, Loganville boys basketball 

Dorbor was the main reason Loganville took down Eastside by a score of 62-51. Dorbor scored 42 of Loganville’s 62 points. 

Erial Owens, Hiram girls basketball 

In Hiram's 67-30 win over Cartersville, Owens almost outscored the whole Cartersville team, as she scored 28 points.

Justin Birch, Lanier boys basketball 

Birch dropped a game-high 28 points in a win over Dacula.

Kara Dunn, Mount Paran girls basketball 

Dunn filled up the stat sheet with 21 points, six steals, four rebounds and two blocks in a thrilling win over Norcross.

Ant Arrington, Galloway boys basketball 

Arrington was a stat-sheet stuffer vs. Wesleyan, compiling 18 points, six rebounds, seven steals and five assists. 

Ari Dyson, Luella girls basketball 

Dyson was spectacular in the region semis vs. Riverdale. She had 17 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

Josh Fulton, Greater Atlanta Christian boys basketball 

Fulton put on a show with a double-double in a win over Marist. He racked up 27 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and four blocks.

Averie Jones, Lumpkin County girls basketball 

Jones lit it up from behind the arc. She made seven 3s and scored 23 points as Lumpkin County demolished Dawson.

Isaiah Collier, Wheeler boys basketball 

Collier was scoring buckets in bunches to help get a key region win over Osborne. He ended the game with 29 points.

Sophie Smith, Denmark girls basketball 

Smith was a sight to see in a win over Lambert. She scored 30 points while adding five rebounds, five steals and four assists. 

Jaiun Simon, Pebblebrook boys basketball 

Simon scored a game-high 27 points as Pebblebrook routed Habersham Central 116-46.

Mackenzi Salas, Creekview girls basketball 

Salas’ double-double was a main factor in a victory versus Chattahoochee. She recorded 19 points, 10 boards, four assists and two blocks.

Tianna Thompson, Galloway girls basketball 

Thompson dropped 30 points against Holy Innocents', adding six rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

Connor McKay, Rabun County boys basketball 

McKay was on fire vs. Elbert County, scoring 37 points while adding seven boards and four assists.
