With the 2022 Florida High School Athletic Association boys basketball playoffs tipping off this week, we’re taking a look at the top players to watch, class by class.

From Miami Norland's Marcus Allen to Tampa Catholic's Karter Knox, there are several talented sophomores competing in the FHSAA boys basketball playoffs.

Marcus Allen, Miami Norland

Allen is averaging 18.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game this season for the Vikings.

Jordin Bell, Brooks-DeBartolo

Bell is averaging a team-high 19.6 points per game for the Phoenix this season.

Lorenzo Cason, Victory Christian Academy

Cason is averaging 27.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.5 steals per game this season for the Crusaders.

Isaac Celiscar, Winter Haven

Celiscar is averaging 19 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game this season for the Blue Devils.

Zachiah “ZZ” Clark, Windermere Prep

Clark is averaging 11.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and nearly five assists per game this season for the Lakers.

Tavian Cook, Gateway (Fort Myers)

Cook is averaging 17.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and nearly three assists per game this season.

Elijah Duval, Martin County

Duval is averaging 18 points, six rebounds, 2.1 assists and nearly two steals per game for the Tigers.

Jeremy Elyzee, Flanagan

Elyzee is averaging 13.3 points and 13.2 rebounds per game this season for the Falcons.

Damon Folds, Morningside Academy

Folds is averaging a team-high 3.3 steals per game this season for the Eagles.

Tyler Johnson, Oak Ridge

Johnson is having a stellar season for the Pioneers, averaging 16 points and 7 rebounds per game.

Ethan Kembro, Franklin County

Kembro is averaging 12 points and nearly six rebounds per game this season for the Seahawks.

Karter Knox, Tampa Catholic

Knox (pictured above) is averaging 19.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game this season for the Crusaders.

Justin Lewis, Mariner

Lewis is averaging 12.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season for the Tritons.

Daniel MacGregor, Calvary Christian (Clearwater)

MacGregor is averaging 19.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this season for the Warriors.

Jordan Naylor, Canterbury (St. Petersburg)

Naylor is averaging 13.1 points and nearly seven rebounds per game this season for the Crusaders.

Asa Newell, Choctawhatchee

The 6-foot-9 forward is averaging 14 points and nearly nine rebounds this season for the Indians.

Ameer Ramadan, Orlando Christian Prep

Ramadan is not known for his scoring but is the team’s leader in assists (averaging four assists per game) this season for the Warriors.

Jaylen Robinson, Providence School (Jacksonville)
