Whitt Newbauer, Cardinal Gibbons

The Crusaders’ quarterback was on it, completing 18 of 21 passes for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 38-7 pounding of Leesville Road.

Bryan Rosado, Salisbury

The Hornets’ center helped pave the way for 362 yards rushing in an overwhelming 56-7 win over East Davidson.

Todd Massey, A.L. Brown

Massey had an interception and fumble recovery in a 31-13 win over West Cabarrus.

Noah Gist, Lexington

Gist ran for 61 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 4 carries in a 26-10 win over West Davidson. On defense, he made 9 tackles - 7 of which were solo.

Nathan Carr, Ledford

Another regular on this list, Carr was 16 of 21 for 237 yards and 5 touchdowns as the undefeated Panthers walloped Montgomery Central 42-0. Carr also carried 14 times for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Kamden White, Ledford

This is as good as it gets for a wide receiver. White caught 7 passes for 132 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also made four tackles on defense.

Jaylen Alexander-Raynor, East Forsyth

Alexander-Raynor was spot on, completing 16 of 20 passes for 272 yards and 5 touchdowns as undefeated East Forsyth rolled again.

Ben Novotny, New Hanover

The Wildcats’ kicker made all five of his field goal attempts in a thrilling 23-21 victory over crosstown rival Laney.

Wesley Thompson, Maiden

The 6-foot-5 quarterback was electric, completing 10 of 13 passes for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 52-27 win over Bandys.

Chris Culliver, Maiden

Culliver caught 4 passes for 175 yards, including touchdowns of 80 and 63 yards. He also returned a blocked punt 68 yards for a touchdown.

Lucas Kachilo, West Henderson

The Falcons’ quarterback fired three touchdown passes in a 45-21 victory over Pisgah.

Brock Adams, Robbinsville

Adams had a 58-yard touchdown run and intercepted a pass in a 30-13 win over Cherokee.

Logan Caldwell, Hayesville

Caldwell completed 7 of 10 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown, ran 15 times for 41 yards and a touchdown and made 5 tackles in a 21-14 loss to Murphy.

Liam Groulx, Providence Day

Groulx intercepted 2 passes and made 7 tackles, including 2 for loss, in a 48-8 win over Trinity Christian.

DeAndre Nance, Seventy-First

The sophomore quarterback ran for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns, helping lead his team past Jack Britt 27-20. One of his touchdowns covered 50 yards.

Kemarion Baldwin, St. Pauls

The senior running back amassed 278 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 51-22 win over Midway. He also broke the Robeson County career rushing record, a mark that had stood since 1975.

Kamonte Carter, North Brunswick

In a grinding, defensive battle with Hoggard, Carter came up strong with 10 tackles as the Scorpions won 6-0 to improve to 6-1.

Andrew Frazier, Havelock

What didn't he do? The Rams’ quarterback was 20 of 29 for 225 yards and a touchdown while running for 211 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in a 36-34 win over Jacksonville.

Connor Creech, Oak Grove

The Grizzlies’ quarterback ran for a pair of touchdowns. The second one was a highlight-reel 45-yard scramble that sealed a 30-14 victory for undefeated Oak Grove over rival North Davidson.

Mark Tillman, Southeast Guilford

Tillman intercepted two passes and had a 97-yard touchdown reception.

Jayden Moore, Reagan

A freshman running back making his second varsity start, Moore ran for 298 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Jordan Stephens, West Forsyth

Stephens caught 5 passes for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown.
