Tsion Kelly, North Rowan

Kelly intercepted a pass and recovered two fumbles in the Cavaliers’ 42-0 victory over Lexington.

Blake Hill, East Rowan

A former linebacker, Hill ran for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Mustangs beat South Rowan 37-20 for their first win of the season.

Alex Sanford, Ledford

The junior tailback ran 10 times for 179 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 56-7 runaway win over Ledford.

Christian Perris, Princeton

A senior tailback, Perris gained 222 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 12 carries in a 47-14 win over Beddingfield.

Christian Rutledge, South View

The 5-foot-6, 1600-pound junior tailback ran 21 times for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 21-14 loss to Cape Fear.

Nate Eaton, Mountain Island Charter

Easton had 20 carries for 172 yards and a touchdown in a 39-6 win over Carver. He also made three tackles.

Keelan Flowe, Chambers

Flowe intercepted 2 passes, made 8 tackles and recorded a sack in a 30-14 victory over West Charlotte.

Elijah Clark, Riverside

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound senior was dominant in the Pirates’ 47-21 win over Chapel Hill. Clark made 9 tackles, including 5 for loss, had 3 sacks and 2 quarterback hurries.

Jalen Rudisill, Chase

The senior quarterback was 8 of 9 for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 68-0 rout of Patton. He also ran 3 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Grant Tucker, Charlotte Christian

Tucker caught 9 passes for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Knights beat Christ School 45-7.

Mason Avery, West Lincoln

The senior tailback ran 25 times for 218 yards in a 56-12 rout of East Burke.

Matthew Keener, East Surry

A senior wide receiver, Keener caught 6 passes for 115 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 54-7 win over West Wilkes.

Folger Boaz, East Surry

Boaz completed 15 of 20 passes for 236 yards and the 4 touchdowns to Keener. He also had a rushing touchdown.

Jason Ball, Eastern Alamance

The Eagles’ quarterback was just about perfect, completing 14 of 16 passes for 260 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 42-14 win over Northwood. In addition, Bell ran for a touchdown.

Zander Cheek, Providence Grove

The senior tailback ran 10 times for 131 yards and a touchdown while catching 2 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown as the Patriots beat Southwestern Randolph 45-21.

William Curtis, Watauga

Curtis ran 22 times for 137 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Pioneers beat Freedom 49-14.

Tad Hudson, Hough

In a flawless performance, Hudson was 10 of 12 for 245 yards and a touchdown. He ran for a pair of touchdowns, too.

Justin Little, Independence

The sophomore quarterback was 16 of 21 for 259 yards and a touchdown. He also had 55 yards with 2 touchdowns on 7 carries in a 52-7 rout of Rocky River.

Damon June, Jacksonville

A sophomore tailback, June ran 6 times for 103 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ 51-6 win over South Central. He also caught a touchdown pass.

Xavier Pugh, Millbrook

Pugh carried 11 times for 159 yard and 3 touchdowns. He also caught 4 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown in Millbrook’s 38-14 win over Knightdale.

Jaylen Smith, Central Davidson

Smith intercepted a pair of passes to key a stout defense as the Spartans beat North Davidson 21-7.

Chase Robertson, Oak Grove

The senior linebacker returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the undefeated Grizzlies’ 54-20 rout of Montgomery Central.

Janhri Luckey, Thomasville

The Bulldogs’ quarterback threw for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 33-29 win over East Davidson.
