Congratulations to Olentangy Liberty girls basketball shooting guard Gigi Bower for being voted SBLive’s Ohio High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 7-13!

The sophomore put up 25 points (including six three-pointers), 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals to help lead her team to a 71-27 victory against Pickerington North

Bower received 61.72% of the vote, beating out Olentangy Berlin's Chris Brennan who finished second with 36.18%. Tree of Life's Gianna Lane finished third with 1.11% and Mentor's Matt Kish finished fourth with 0.38%. There were over 69,000 votes tallied this week!

Chris Brennan, Olentangy Berlin ice hockey

Brennan came from behind the net to score the overtime game-winner and lead the Bears to their first CBJ Cup.

Gracie Chelf, Wooster swimming

The Cleveland State commit placed first in the girls 50-yard free with a time of 24.53 and qualified for the NE district championship.

Alex Ciolek, Northwestern boys basketball

Led his team with 23 points, including five 3-pointers, five assists and five rebounds to dominate Orrville 73-57.

Owen Fiesler, Triway boys bowling

Led his team in the individual games, rolling a 603 (245-166-192) series.

Eric Holley III, East boys basketball

The Toledo football commit dropped 51 points in a 86-69 win over Hudson.

Matt Kish, Mentor ice hockey

Scored his 20th goal of the season with a go-ahead goal in the third period to help the Cardinals to a 4-2 Baron Cup I victory over Olmsted Falls.

Olivia Klanac, Medina girls basketball

Had 16 points, five rebounds and three steals to lead the Bees to a 55-19 win over Twinsburg.

Gianna Lane, Tree of Life girls basketball

Had 27 points in a 63-34 rout over Delaware Christian.

Kiki McElrath, Bishop Hartley girls basketball

McElrath scored a game-high 20 points in a close loss to Bishop Watterson.

Paul McMillan IV, Woodward boys basketball

Scored 28 points to lead Woodward past Shroder 108-32 and rise to 13th on the OHSAA all-time scoring list. 

Imarianah Russell, Reynoldsburg girls basketball

Had 28 points in a win at Newark, marking her 11th 25-plus-point game of the season.

Peyton Smith, Cleveland Heights girls basketball

Smith scored 14 points and had a team-high 17 rebounds in a 54-45 win over Orange.

Dailyn Swain, Africentric boys basketball

The junior had a huge second half, scoring 17 of his 22 total points and finishing with six steals to lead the Nubians to a defeat over Beechcroft and their first league title since 2005.

Khoi Thurmon, Buchtel boys basketball

Had 25 points, eight assists and seven rebounds to spoil Brecksville-Broadview Heights’ undefeated season, 75-66.

Jalen Wenger, Dalton boys basketball

Had a team-high 28 points, four rebounds and four assists in a 67-51 win over Revere. 

Daniel Young, Shaker Heights boys basketball

Had 32 points, five rebounds, three steals and four assists to lead his team to a win over Bedford.
