Drey Carter, Westerville South boys basketball

Put together a game-high 25 points to help Westerville South pull away from Dublin Jerome 71-64 in a double-overtime thriller.

Marius Coleman, Cleveland Heights boys track and field

Coleman won the 400-meter indoor state title with the top time in all Ohio divisions (48.58).

Reagan Ernst, Dublin Jerome gymnastics

Ernst took home the individual all-around state championship and placed first in uneven parallel bars, third in the floor exercise and fourth on the balance beam.

Alyssa Geiser, Waynedale girls basketball

Geiser lit up the offense with a game-high 20 points including four 3-pointers to help defeat Warrensville Heights 44-43 and win the Division III Cuyahoga Falls regional title.

Pyper Gibson, Rittman girls track and field

The junior won the 1,600-meter state indoor title with a time of 5:04.49.

Nick Heath, Upper Arlington boys basketball

Heath, who averages 17.4 points per game, paced his team with 22 points and eight rebounds to a 48-43 win over Reynoldsburg.

Sean Jones, Gahanna Lincoln boys basketball

Jones, who averages 19.9 points per game, scored 29 points to top St. Charles 66-39 and win the program’s second consecutive Div. I district title.

Geoffrey Lapsevich, St. Edward ice hockey

Lapsevich scored a backhand goal to push St. Edward past St. Ignatius 2-1 and punch a ticket to the state Frozen Four.

Kyla Oldacre, Mason girls basketball

The 6-foot-6 senior had 21 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks to help the Comets defeat Mount Notre Dame 43-41 and snap their 98-game winning streak.

Leena Patibandla, Massillon Jackson girls basketball

One game after scoring a career-high 21 points, she posted 10 points, three rebounds and three blocks vs. St. Joseph Academy to send the program to its first OHSAA state tournament.

Isaiah Portis, Norwayne boys basketball

Led Norwayne to its third straight district title with 23 points in a 70-43 win over Fairview.

Brandon Rose, Gilmour boys basketball

Had 26 points to help beat Buchtel 84-70 and secure the Division II district championship.

Imarianah Russell, Reynoldsburg girls basketball

Russell, who averages 25.2 points per game, scored a game-high 21 points in a 56-47 victory over Dublin Coffman to lead the Raiders to their first state tournament since 2016.

Caden Schmeltzer, Waynedale wrestling

The freshman came back from a 2-0 deficit and won the 126-pound district title by a 14-4 major decision.

Faith Stinson, Sheridan girls basketball

Had a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds in a 55-30 win over Vincent Warren to send Sheridan to Dayton.
