Carson Browne, Elder

The Panthers may have lost to Archbishop Moeller, but not without a highlight catch by Browne. With the first quarter winding down, quarterback Ben Schoster rolled left and fired high to Browne, who leaped and made contact with both hands before eventually hauling in the pass with one hand while getting a foot down inbounds.

Casey Bullock and Kyann Mason, St. Edward

Early in the second quarter against St. Ignatius, Bullock dropped back and let fly with a perfect pass and Mason laid out in the end zone for the touchdowns catch.

Joe Caswell, Anthony Wayne

Trailing 17-7 in the third quarter against Perrysburg, the senior running back seemed to be stopped at the line of scrimmage. But he broke a tackle and bounced outside where he ran 66 yards for the touchdown.

Ethan Holbrook, Avon

In the second quarter of Avon’s 63-42 win over Olmsted Falls, the senior hauled in a pass from quarterback Sam DeTillio with one hand for a touchdown. It was just one of five scores on the night for Holbrook.

Jack Jenkins, Hudson

With the Explorers trailing 14-0 in the second quarter, Jenkins saw a pass deflected at the line of scrimmage and reached back across his body with his left hand to pick it off as he was falling to the ground. The interception led to a Hudson touchdown.

Jake LaVerde and Gino Blasini, Kirtland

Trailing Perry 8-0 in the second quarter, LaVerde found Blasini over the middle with a pass. The receiver made a nice catch over the defender and then ripped away from him for the touchdown to tie the game. Kritland ended up winning 36-16.

Jordan Marshall, Archbishop Moeller

In Moeller’s 42-14 win over Elder, the junior running back scored four touchdowns in the first half, with this being his best. He makes a linebacker miss at the line of scrimmage, jukes one defensive back and then breaks the tackle attempt of another on his way to a 24-yard score.

Jermaine Mathews, Jr, Winton Woods

With Winton Woods trailing Kings 10-0, the Ohio State University commit took a punt return to the house for the Warriors. Winton Woods finished with a 28-23 win.

Luke Shenigo, St. Vincent-St. Mary

With STVM holding a 28-21 lead late in the fourth quarter, Shenigo stepped in front of a pass and intercepted a pass that he returned for a touchdown to give them a 35-21 lead. They went on to win 35-28.

Danny Stoddard and Jack Wojciak, Medina

In Medina’s 52-38 win over Mentor, there were plenty of plays from which to choose. On this one, Stoddard finds Wojciak, who catches the ball and spins off two Mentor defenders before sprinting for a 67-yard touchdown.
