Darreon Fair and Cleveland Heights defeat Maple Heights 50-30
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio – Behind four Darreon Fair touchdowns, Cleveland Heights defeated Maple Heights 50-30 on Friday night.
Cleveland Heights (8-0) scored 43 straight points after Maple Heights took an 8-7 lead early in the first quarter following Fair’s first score of the game.
Owen Bisker, Marquis Davis and Fair answered the Maple Heights score with rushing touchdowns in the first quarter to give Cleveland Heights a 28-8 lead.
Fair then added rushing touchdowns in the second and third quarters to make it 42-8. Fair had 160 yards of offense and scored four rushing touchdowns on 16 carries to lead the Tigers running attack that had more than 220 yards on the night.
Bisker then capped off the scoring for Cleveland Heights with a touchdown run to begin the fourth quarter.
Maple Heights didn’t quit, as Jai-Veon Baker scored on a 41-yard run and Dawon King hit Deniro Locklear for a score. King then finished the scoring with a 35-yard touchdown run.
