Zack Carpenter, Anthony Wayne football

Had a pick-six and scored a touchdown to lead the Generals to a 51-7 rout over Sylvania.

Colin Cernansky, Marlington cross country

Was the overall winner of the Eastern Buckeye Conference meet finishing in 16:01.64. Marlington won the team title with a perfect score of 15.

Ty’Waun Clark, Toledo Central Catholic football

The quarterback threw for 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns and added a touchdown on the ground with a 53-yard run. Toledo rolled past Fremont Ross 42-0.

Rocco Conti, Olmsted Falls football

The senior running back ran for 250 yards and scored six touchdowns to lift Olmsted Falls to a 56-31 win over Avon Lake.

AJ D’Amore, Ottawa Hills football

Had three fumble recoveries to set up scores in the first half. Ottawa Hills shutout Northwood 41-0.

Jason Davide, Massillon Jackson football

The running back led the Polar Bears with two touchdowns in a 21-14 win over Central.

Jimmy Finley, Elder football

Was a dominant force on defense with eight tackles and an interception. Elder defeated Bishop Chatard 21-16.

D’Anthony Kelker, St. Vincent-St. Mary football

Rushed for 158 yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns. The Fighting Irish handed Cleveland Heights their first loss of the season, 49-21.

Ben Lavelle, St. Edward football

Kicked two field goals of 46 and 47 yards for the only points in the game. His performance helped the Eagles knock off Archbishop Moeller 6-0.

Mikey Maloney, Riverside football

Helped keep the Beavers winning streak and perfect record alive behind five touchdown passes, including a 51-yard pass. Maloney finished 15-for-21 totaling 262 yards in a 42-25 win over Kenston.

Sean Martin, St. Ignatius football

Had two touchdowns as the Wildcats went on the road and defeated St. Xavier 24-21.

Sam Robledo, Hudson soccer

Scored two goals in a 4-0 shutout win against Stow and had a hat trick in a 7-0 win over Copley. 

Griffin Scalf, Anderson football

Accounted for six touchdowns and finished 22-of-24 passing for 396 yards and five touchdowns as the Raptors beat Turpin 62-20.

Bryce Schondelmyer, Springfield football

In a 39-0 win over Miamisburg, the senior quarterback was nearly perfect, completing 25 of his 31 passes for 353 yards and three scores.

Lukas Stiles, Highland football

Ignited Highland’s offense with three touchdowns to help the Hornets defeat Aurora 30-3.

Larkyn Vordermark, Sidney soccer 

Recorded a hat trick and an assist in a 10-1 win over Greenville and had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Tecumseh.

Jackson Wiley, Olentangy football

Scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime to take down Dublin Jerome 23-20.

D.J. Williams, Austintown Fitch football

The junior set a new single-game rushing record with 301 yards rushing on 25 attempts and three touchdowns. Williams rushed touchdowns of 60 and 75 yards to help the Falcons beat rival Boardman 42-20.

Ella Wong, Hawken golf

Shot a 152 in the OHSAA in the state tournament to defend her individual state golf championship, winning by one shot. Wong became the fourth female golfer in OHSAA history to win back-to-back state titles.
