Top stars, best performances in the Oklahoma high school boys basketball state tournament

Listed below are some of the top stars and best performances from the Oklahoma boys state tournaments last week from classes 2A through 6A. If you know of a top performer we should include, please let us know in the comments.

6A

Dylan Warlick, Edmond North

Warlick scored 64 total points through three games in helping lead the Huskies to the 6A championship. He had 20 points and 18 rebounds in their 62-52 quarterfinal win against Jenks, 16 points and 14 rebounds in their 76-69 win against Booker T. Washington and 28 points and 10 rebounds in the Huskies' 56-50 title win against Moore.

T.O. Barrett, Edmond North

Barrett had 40 total points in the Huskies' three wins en route to the 6A title. In the quarterfinals against Jenks, he had 16 points and three assists and also had 17 points, five assists and three steals in the win against Booker T. Washington.

TJ Strong, Edmond North

Strong scored a total of 31 points through the Huskies' three state tournament wins.

Cahlese Lee, Edmond North

Lee scored 17 points in the Huskies' semifinal win against Booker T. Washington.

Chiante Tramble, Moore

Tramble scored a total of 38 points during the Lions' march to the 6A title game. He had 13 points in their 53-48 quarterfinal win against Putnam City West.

Darian Grant, Moore

Grant had 37 points in the Lions' three state tournament games. He had 10 in the quarterfinal win against PC West and had 20 points and 11 rebounds in their 64-55 semifinal win against Edmond Santa Fe.

Aaron Potter, Tulsa Booker T. Washington

Potter scored 35 points on 13-of-22 shooting and also had nine steals in the Hornets' 81-72 6A quarterfinal win against Norman North.

Jayden Cincotta, Edmond Santa Fe

Cincotta had a team-high 10 points as the Wolves got a 38-36 6A quarterfinal win against crosstown rival Edmond Memorial.

5A

Ty Frierson, Tulsa Memorial

Frierson scored a total of 69 points during the Chargers' run to the 5A championship. He had 23 with seven assists in a 78-37 quarterfinal win against Midwest City, 24 points with four assists in a 75-50 semifinal win against Oklahoma City Southeast and then 22 points with four steals in the Chargers' 59-47 win against Del City for the title.

Bradyn Hubbard, Tulsa Memorial

Hubbard scored 40 total points in Memorial's three 5A state tournament wins. In the semifinal win against Southeast, he had 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Jarreth Ingram, Tulsa Memorial

Ingram scored 35 total points in Memorial's three wins en route to the 5A title. He had 11 of those in the championship game against Del City.

Killian Spellman, Tulsa Memorial

Spellman averaged 10 points in the Chargers' state tournament run. He had 11 points in the 5A title win against Del City.

Terry McMorris, Del City

McMorris scored a total of 40 points in the Eagles' run to the 5A title game. He had 14 points and 12 rebounds in their 73-43 quarterfinal win against Claremore and then 17 points and eight boards in a 52-40 semifinal win against Midwest City Carl Albert.

Percy Green, Del City

Green averaged 11 points in the 5A state tournament. He had 10 points in the semifinal win against Carl Albert.

Damarious Vealy, Del City

Vealy turned in a 16-point performance in the Eagles' 5A quarterfinal win against Claremore.

Michael Graham, Oklahoma City Southeast

Graham scored a game-high 24 points, 20 of those in the first half, in the Spartans' 66-53 win against Bishop McGuinness in the 5A quarterfinals.

Ladainian Fields, Oklahoma City Southeast

Fields had 10 points, all in the second half, in the Spartans' quarterfinal win against Bishop McGuinness.

Tashawn James, Midwest City Carl Albert

James scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Titans' 60-25 5A quarterfinal win against Collinsville.

Quincy Hopkins, Midwest City Carl Albert

Hopkins also had 14 points and seven boards in the Titans' quarterfinal win against Collinsville.

4A

Chase Davis, Kingfisher

Davis averaged 13 points during the Yellowjackets' three-game run to another 4A championship, their third in a row. He had 16 points and six rebounds in their 39-36 semifinal win against Crossings Christian and then had 14 points and made four 3-pointers in the 51-43 title-game win against Victory Christian.

Xavier Ridenour, Kingfisher

Ridenour scored 35 total points in Kingfisher's run to the 4A title. He had 15 points and three assists against Victory Christian, and also had nine points in the semifinal win against Crossings Christian.

Caden Kitchens, Kingfisher

Kitchens scored 11 points in the Yellowjackets' semifinal win against Crossings Christian.

Joshua Udoumoh, Victory Christian

Udoumoh had a total of 54 points in the Conquerors' run to the 4A championship game. He had 16 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks in their 60-53 quarterfinal win against Mount St. Mary and also had 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists in their 54-51 semifinal win against Weatherford.

Luke Patton, Victory Christian

Patton averaged more than 11 points in the three state tournament games for Victory. He had 12 points and six boards in the Conquerors' semifinal win against Weatherford.

Cade Jennings, Weatherford

Jennings scored 32 points and made 7-of-11 3-point attempts in the Eagles' 77-63 quarterfinal win against Heritage Hall.

CJ Nickson, Weatherford

Nickson had 18 points, nine rebounds and three assists in Weatherford's quarterfinal win against Heritage Hall. 

Reid Lovelace, Crossings Christian

Lovelace had 16 points and three assists in the 4A quarterfinal win for Crossings, as the Knights outlasted Holland Hall, 45-40.

3A

Jaden Nickens, Oklahoma City Millwood

A freshman, Nickens averaged 15.3 points during the Falcons' run to the 3A championship. He had 19 points in their 56-39 quarterfinal win against Kingston, and had 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting in their 53-50 title-game win against Community Christian.

Chance Davis, Oklahoma City Millwood

Davis scored 10 points in the title-game win against Community Christian, including the game-winning 3-pointer as time expired.

Darius Jones, Oklahoma City Millwood

Jones scored 12 points in the Falcons' 44-42 win against Marlow in the 3A semifinal round.

Bai Jobe, Community Christian School

Jobe averaged 17.3 points in the Royals' run to the 3A championship game. He had 17 points and 16 rebounds along with two blocks in their 53-49 quarterfinal win against Washington, and also had 21 points in the semifinals, a 66-59 win against Oklahoma Christian School.

Cade Bond, Community Christian School

Bond averaged 18 points in the Royals' three-game state tournament showing. He had 20 points in the semifinal win against OCS.

Josiah Johnson, Marlow

Johnson had 28 points and eight rebounds in the Outlaws 52-43 quarterfinal win against Roland. He had 17 points and three 3's in the first half.

Luke Gray, Oklahoma Christian School

Gray went for 24 points in the Saints' 49-38 quarterfinal win against Vinita.

2A

Dayton Forsythe, Dale

Forsythe had a tremendous 2A state tournament, averaging 29 points in the Pirates' march to the title. He had 32 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in Dale's 60-43 quarterfinal win against Hooker, 18 points, eight boards and seven assists in a 66-38 semifinal win against Silo and then in the title game, had 37 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the Pirates' 65-58 win against Cashion.

Deken Jones, Dale

Jones averaged 13.3 points for the Pirates en route to the state championship. He scored 15 points in Dale's semifinal win against Silo.

Jonah Jenkins, Cashion

Jenkins averaged 15 points as the Wildcats were the 2A runner-up. He had 11 points in their 50-28 quarterfinal win against Latta and then had 14 points, five rebounds and two assists in the Pirates' 57-37 semifinal win against Morrison.

Landon Lagasse, Cashion

Lagasse averaged 13.3 points for the Wildcats. In their quarterfinal win against Latta, he went for 19 points.

Ethan Wilkerson, Silo

Wilkerson had a double-double for the Rebels, scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds in their 55-38 quarterfinal win against Pocola.

Charlie Gardner, Silo

Gardner scored 15 points on 7-of-14 field goals in the Rebels' quarterfinal win against Pocola.

Gabe Battles, Morrison

Battles scored 12 points and grabbed four rebounds as Morrison defeated defending 2A champion Oklahoma Union, 42-39, in the quarterfinals.
